Penny owner was friendly and very helpful, especially having to rebook another day. She gave us the same discount that's provided through booking.com. Also the staff were friendly and helpful. Most of all very clean establishment, I highly recommend staying here. Thank you, Penny and staff, for a much needed break would have stayed longer.

When we got in it was freezing didn't know how to work the heater, but bonus had electric blankets. Also with booking.com, doesn't not have clear cut policies inregards to payments through them and the actual places you book with. Eg: you pay with afterpay on here you can't with the establishment?? Be good if that's cleared up.

We had a long drive down with three tamariki, we were all over the drive and it was lovely to see Penny fast and efficient, she handed us the key with all necessary information, it was a fast process and allowed us to get to the room and stretch/rest. The room was exactly as pictured, a great family facility, clean and welcoming. The layout of space was perfect for us, and the kids loved the playground close by and water pressure in the shower. Location was perfect to city centre for kai and the beach for a swim. We will definitely visit again.

The kids mentioned a strong cleaning product smell when we entered the room, airing it out helped and it didn’t last longer then 10mins.

Great motel just out of town. The rooms are perfectly reasonable and good sound proofing, didn't hear our neighbours at all. The shower is basic but really good pressure and heat. The staff were friendly and give you a small bottle of fresh milk for your fridge when you check in. Family friendly, with two friendly pet goats to say hello to and a small kids park. Comfy leather chairs and decent bed

Wifi was a bit hit and miss, but it was quite a busy night for them so i would probably put it down to that.

was a very nice 2 bedroom unit and suited us to the ground , parking was excellent right out side the front door was very quite for 3 nights very good location for us as well

2 things wi-fi was a bit weak for my laptop and phone and first night a refrigerated truck was plugged in all night and going not next door but a little way away

Room was comfortable, tidy and bed amazing . Very quiet as well .

When we checked in at 6.15pm rang bell for assistance. Lady came out said absolutely nothing to me , I greeted her, she replied with “milk , wifi password room 4 on your right “ and passed me the key . Very unwelcoming start to our stay .

The location of the property was excellent, and the comfort within the room was excellent, especially having 2 separate lounge chairs to watch the TV rather than sitting on the bed.

We were next to the laundry, which was noisy at times at night.

Spacious very clean room with parking steps away. Nicely furnished. Excellent shower and towels. Tuatara (not instant) coffee and fresh milk. Nice wool blankets. Kitchenette well-equipped, with toaster oven as well as microwave. Owners hands on and take great care of the property. Plus, you have to like the name.

The Kiwi Court Motel was easy to find and while the welcome was a little underwhelming the room and the facilities provided were modern and comfortable, and we enjoyed our stay there. The pillows were very comfortable. I would stay here again to visit the Tawhiti Museum a second time. Lots of food options in town. We enjoyed a wonderful feed of fish and chips at the "Black Cat" cafe in town.

Great location by car, per bus it is a bit of a walk from the city centre, obviously I knew that in advance. There is also a superette around the corner, so easy to get the basics covered. The room was clean, shower pressure excellent, shampoo and soap provided. Houskeeping was stellar. I also appreicated to get every day a fresh sachet of coffee for the plunger. Stove top etc. worked well and I was able to self-cater. All in all would definitly recommend. I also liked that I was able to use the washing machine and dryer for free.

Got a bit stuffy in summer and there is no air-con, only a fan. I would suggest to slowly upgrade the units. If you open the windows at night iit is fine. On that topic: On Saturday the neighbours had a loud party with music, yelling, singing etc. well after 1am. Not great and I would have wished the motel would enforce a no party policy. Gladly I had earplugs, so was finally able to sleep with windows closed. Typical case of 'main character' syndrom and not thinking about other people around you that may need to work the next day and be rested.

This motel is always immaculate and comfortable and provides good value…BUT ..if you are in the back 1 bedroom units..then the wifi is awful…so cell phones etc are impossible to use…in fact we sat in the dark up the drive checking emails etc…this is the only complaint I would have
