Our hostess has worked very hard to provide a great facility. She is very friendly. The room is large, the bed comfortable and the heating perfect for a Winter’s night. There is a huge well equipped kitchen for preparing meals.

Because the accommodation was upstairs we had to make several trips to carry luggage and food containers. The parking was just outside, but being on the main road and alongside yellow lines, we weren’t sure that we wouldn’t be fined. However everything worked out well.Apparently where we parked is considered “belonging” to our hostess.

Last minute booking as we finished our journey on The Forgotten Highway. Terna was amazing, so welcoming and friendly - thank you for everything, we loved our stay ❤️ Booked the Deluxe Suite with Spa Bath - was more than expected and perfect. For those looking to book accommodation here - the Suite has an amazing lounge, bedroom & full ensuite with spa bath. Kitchen & dining facilities are shared. Other accommodation options share bathroom facilities as well. For those who are are unable to navigate stairs, this accommodation may not be for you.

Room 2 has three separate rooms: Living Room, Bedroom, and, Bath. They were wonderful. The spa bath filled up quickly and was an awesome feature. Being in the center of town allowed easy access to all that Stratford had to offer. Being within walking distance of a New World made it easy to get whatever you might need. It was fun finding the pole, required to turn on the switch to the AirCon, and the AirCon controller. After our visit the previous day, it was like being a primate in a zoo exhibit with enrichment routines.

If you don't know that it is more of a communal space than a hotel, you'll be very confused at first. Once we understood, we could enjoy the space much better. Parking is a bit of a mess, but once you figure out that the 180 minute spaces are just around the corner, everything is much easier.

This is a boutique hotel, which doesn't look much from the outside, but is pleasantly furnished on the inside. The premises are extremely clean, and the rooms are welcoming and very comfortable. The Hostess/Manager is very friendly and helpful. The location is centre of town, with abundant on street parking, and within easy walk of Cafe's, Bar & restaurants.

The bathroom & toilet, are shared. However; they are conveniently located, and well set up. I did not find this to be a problem. I would happily stay here again.

The owner was very helpful and kind. The location is near the bus stop, helpful for those without a car. The bed is firm and the kitchen is shared but has everything you need. The room is large.

The room overlooks the main road through town so it is quite noisy even at night. There is a black stain on the ceiling of the corner room, mold perhaps that caught my attention and should be taken care of. The bathroom is clean. The two showers are kind of funky, you walk up a few stairs for the shower.

Once inside we were blown away! It was spectacular! Everything exceeded our expectation, would stay again.

The only thing I could suggest is better signage at the from door, like a sign and maybe an arrow to guide people to the right door. We arrived there late and in the rain to find a looked door - and nearly left to find somewhere else to stay, thinking we had been scammed. If it wasn't for my mobile data, we wouldn't have received the code! Maybe some information about this with the booking confirmation would work well? The other thing is the parking - perhaps some information about safe parking options could be appreciated by you clients.

Terna was lovely and very friendly. It was very clean and our bed was very comfortable. The layout wasn't really what we were expecting but it was serviceable for our requirements. The kitchen was great and well supplied with equipment. The views of the mountain from the dining room were spectacular and the view of the Z station were entertaining :)

We weren't that keen on the raised shower unit. It felt a little unsafe to go down the steps after a shower. But the shower was very good and again...clean. Could have done with at least another toilet. We ran out of toilet paper and couldn't find any more, or anyone to ask for more. Perhaps something to note in the future.

There were three of myself, my husband and my mother-in-law, so the one-bedroom apartment with ensuite and single bed in living area was perfect. The large modular lounge was super comfortable and my husband loved the massive TV screen. Kitchen and dining areas were shared common areas but as there is only 3 other bedrooms, there weren’t too many other guests and I had the fully equipped kitchen to myself to cook up dinner. The owner, Terna was lovely, very friendly and enjoys a chat. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Parking was a little bit awkward. We parked, offloaded our bags and then found parking close-by in a side street.

The owner lady was so friendly she offered me a quieter room. I saw a wonderful figure of Mt Taranaki from the window. She also let me use the kitchen very early in the morning to serve a petit dejeuner with her stuff in the fridge. After finishing the hard work of the day, the large bed in the cosy room was everything I needed. Located in the centre of the compact town, I could walk around to see a beautiful park along the river, a clock tower with a puppet theatre and nice restaurants. I got more than I expected. I am sure I will come back. Thank you, Terna.

The furnishings and the size of the rooms made it very comfortable. The bathroom was bigger than our accommodation the night before. It is very deceiving from the outside but when we walked into the accommodation we got a lovely surprise.

Can’t think of anything. Maybe a mirror in the bathroom but that definitely isn’t a deal breaker.
