We loved the room! super clean, and the bed was comfortable. We stayed for two nights and appreciated that they provided housekeeping. The location was perfect, just beside Countdown, so it was easy to grab supplies. Only 20 minutes away from the places we explored.Staff are very approachable :) Great value for money! We’ll definitely be back!

The only downside was the soundproofing of our room? you could hear people passing by the front door, talking, and some noise from the other room. Otherwise, we loved it here!❤️

We enjoyed alott to be honest. However, i want to make one thing in your notice that as we stayed with 3 kids main door was easily accessible to them. There was no Lock from inside in order to stop them from getting outside. This was the main concern only with the property. Rest It was favourable to stay at your property. Thank you soo much ☺️

We booked Rm 2, which is an accessible room. My wife is an ambulatory wheelchair user. It had lots of space & was well laid out. It was great to see an extra bed for those travelling with a carer/support worker. Good shower chair too. Good location with Woolworths next door and an easy 15 min walk into town. We ate at Ourr Place which had great food & service. All of the motel staff were lovely. Very friendly & helpful. One of the best wheelchair accessible rooms we've stayed in. Thank-you!

A great welcome on our arrival. Good location just on the edge of Stratford, but only a 20 minute walk into the town centre. We were in room 11 furthest way from the road and heard no traffic. Although I don’t this would be a problem in other rooms. The spacious room was clean and comfortable. It’s worth visiting the clock tower when the glockenspiel starts as you get a Romeo & Juliet show. We went at 7pm it happens at other times of the day, just google it

Staff were friendly on arrival and provided guidance on activities and sights to see. Room was large and spacious for our family of 4 with 2 beds in one room and a separate bed in the main area. Bathroom had good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Room heating was good. Great location within walking distance to Countdown.

Trivial things but did stop a perfect experience. 1st floor room but no balcony to sit outside. No lift to help with luggage to 1st floor, only stairs at each end of the complex. On the main road so getting out across traffic was a small issue, luckily not much traffic.

Modern and spacious. Bathroom was huge and had heated floor tiles which was so nice!

Extractor fan in bathroom wasn’t adequate so the bathroom steamed up a lot. Was tricky with a young toddler as there were draws down low with cutlery, knives and plates etc and you could not lock the front door from the inside or prevent it from being opened so our toddler had a great time opening the front door constantly. We ended up having to use a chair as a door block haha.

The apartment was quite modern, new, and of a very good size. It had all essentials, including a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. Especially, we liked the bathroom, which was quite luxury, with a spa bath and underfloor heating. The bedroom was good size and cosy with comfy beds. The staff were kind and welcoming. The motel is well-located in close proximity to the city centre. It's worth noting that it was one of few places in NZ that did not take the payment in advance (although we stayed there only 1 night). Also, we arrived quite late and overstayed by half an hour, but no one made a problem because of it. Definitely, a place to recommend.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Cleanliness was outstanding throughout the unit. Almost everything was supplied that we would need. The beds were comfortable and there was enough bedding.

The picture on the wall above the single bed should have been hung securely - it did fall down but luckily it wasn't a night when Mum was in the bed. I suggest this is hung in a better fashion. There was too much light pouring into the room at night through the glass door panels - the stairwell lighting was too bright. It was a bit hard to have a meal together since there was no table that the three of us could use. That was not really a major problem, but I didn't want to spill food on the bed.

Very surprised at how nice, clean and inviting this place was cnsidering it is just a small town motel. The room with jacuzzi on the balcony definitely takes the cake, but even a different time travelling with my kid the 2 bedroom more simple units were still very comfortable and warm. Literally next door to grocery store

Not much not to like. I guess it's a decent walk into town if you walked on doing that.

This is a great motel on the western edge of the interesting little town of Stratford which does all the things it can to link it to Shakespeare's Stratford-upon-Avon. The motel is right next door to the Countdown supermarket and the kitchenette is well equipped and ideal for self catering. We were upgraded from a one to two bedroom apartment which meant a separate room for the cases but in fairness, all the apartments are a good size. As well as the kitchenette, there's a dining table and chairs and a good sized comfortable seating area. We were also kindly moved from Room 4 to Room 10 to be further away from the road and when we wanted an extra night, again the staff were prepared to do the extra jiggling in order that we could stay in the same room. We even got to see Taranaki from the garden - it's only the one premium room that would have the view of it but the gardens at the back are peaceful. Spa bath was excellent as was the shower. Good toiletries and clean and looked after.

The only issue in some rooms would be the noise from the road and they can't do anything about that.
