I am an active traveller, so this property gave me everything I needed - a comfortable bed, clean shared facilities, the ability to make a simple meal & somewhere quiet to chill out. Set in a peaceful, mature garden, it was so much nicer than an anonymous hotel room. I was older than most of the guests, (in my 60's), but I didn't feel out of place at all. The manager is friendly, helpful and has lots of local knowledge for activities.

Nothing negative as such, but parents with young children would need to be aware that the little stream on one side of the property is unfenced.

The hotel is old but well-maintained. The reception manager was incredibly friendly and helpful. Parking is free and plentiful, which was a big plus. The common areas, kitchen, toilets, and shower rooms were very clean and well-equipped. There's also a washing machine and dryer available (for a fee), and an outdoor covered area to hang clothes.

The kitchen, reception, and dining areas share the same space, which can feel a bit cramped at times. The soundproofing isn’t the best—we could hear children shouting and running on the second floor from our room. Wifi is only 100mbps per day.

Super clean, all the staff were amazing and it was in such a cute nature park. Dorm rooms were good and big enough for everyone's stuff. Kitchen was super clean and well organised. Bathrooms were good and the set up was nice and private. Loved feeding the eels in the river as well

So many bugs definitely come prepared with lots of bug spray! Also carpark is quite far away so if leaving stuff in your car make sure you won't need it urgently

The accommodation allowed me to change the dates of my stay. The person to whom I spoke on the phone was kind. Even though I did not see any staff members around, the keys to my room with clear instructions and a welcoming note were left on the counter when I arrived. The kitchen was very, very tidy, and the toilets were clean.

One of the bed sheets had a big stain, and one of the doors in the ladies' toilet did not have a lock. It was also a bit cold, and the duvets were thin.

I loved the staff, our room was good and spacious. the location is central but i felt like i wasn't in the city. very easy going. i loved how hot the showers got!

one window in our room had no curtain and didnt close fully. it was cold and let a draft through. our neighbors were horrible unfortunately. staff tried to do what they can but ultimately theres only so much you can do

It was a nice and quiet room. At least most of the times.

The window could only be open wide or not at all. Would have liked to have an in-between or just a gap open during the day as there was a lot of moisture in the air but did not feel comfortable to leave it open when I was not in the room.

My second stay here. The staff is really friendly and helpful (gave me some really good food recommendation). The place is clean and tidy and you can find anything you need.

I was in a girl only dorm hoping to be quiet - but the 4 others ladies sharing my room were not respectful (noice, talking, lights on, coughing). Even if it is not the accomodation's fault's, it is a bit annoying.

I booked at Egmony Eco lodge as all we needed was a place to sleep, I knew we were going to be out all day. The beds were comfortable. And there was plenty if parking. Also room for the 4 and 5 year old granddaughters to run around outside when they got up in the morning.

I know the weather was exceptionally warm, so was the room . We had to have the window wide open as it wouldn't stay open just a little. So I used a bit of wool to hold it open to at least allow air in.

Great location. We stayed for only one night and enjoyed it. The kitchen has all the things we needed. We also had the whole deck for ourselves. The staff lady was smiley. Bathroom and toilets were clean.

There’s only one power outlet in the room, so we needed to charge our devices in the common area.

The stuff is super nice! They were very welcoming and talkative :) The kitchen was also well equipped! Given the relative prices around, it was definitely not a bad deal.

The hot water ran out in the showers, so one would have to go quite far to ones that are operated on gas.
