*Liked that I could book at short notice on the day, secure with card and pay on arrival. *Location on main traffic route providing easy access to amenities. *Kitchen facilities enabled adequate food preparation, cooking and storage - I enjoyed the opportunity to make dinner and breakfast. *Studio/sleeping area had ample room and storage, good sized tv and faced northwest, capturing the afternoon sun. *The heater was excellent for warming the room - only needed to be on a.low temperature. I particularly enjoyed having an electric blanket to warm up the bed. Extra blankets.and pillows were a bonus and appreciated. *The shower pressure/temperature was fantastic and I was impressed to see there was a hook to hang a bathrobe - often not available, so well done.

The gardens around the office and parking area could do with some care and attention, perhaps a lick of paint on the trellis fence.

My mum and I had a satisfying stay in this motel for two nights. The bed is just the right firmness for us and the the bedding is clean and cozy. There are extra pillows and one wool blanket in the cupboard. I saw the heating unit and a fan, though we do not need it at this time of the year. It is a complete unit with a bathroom and toilet. The mini kitchen with cooking cutlery is just enough for us. The location is great too. We walked miles, loving the surroundings. The owner is approachable and provides the local information for us. Overall, it is a very happy stay there.

The WIFI facility may need some care since the coverage is not stable.

The motel is old - but the unit was clean, and airy. All the appliances worked, and there was plenty of hot water in the shower. The beds were comfortable and the sheets clean. Alex was friendly and very helpful.

I had no issues the motel exceeded my expectations. It could be a bit noisy in the afternoons but all three of our nights were quiet

This is an older style motel that was spotlessly clean, spacious with kitchenette. It is close to facilities, the staff were most helpful and it was excellent value for money. We recommend it to anyone wanting a well priced comfortable stay.

We had come to New Plymouth for funeral. The main house was close by and where the service was held was a 4 minute drive from the motel. Good location and close to all amenities which I appreciated.

I didn't use it myself but I booked it for my nephew and the women was super helpful as I was out of town and My nephew dosnt have ID or anything. I'm thankful she was helpful for him.

Alex is extremely helpful and happy. She is lovely to deal with and I would happily stay there again.
