I always have such a great stay at this hotel! I travel to New Plymouth often, and this is always my go-to. The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating, they make me feel welcome from the moment I arrive. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the city with a shopping mall just across the road, which is super convenient. The hotel feels safe, clean and comfortable, and even the cleaners are so kind and respectful. It’s clear that everyone here takes pride in what they do. I highly recommend staying here if you’re after a central, warm, and easy experience.

Bed was amazibg, very comfortable. It had the shower chair and disable access as advertised, it was perfextly close to the carpark. Shower pressure was great. The small table between the armchairs was so handy. For a small studio it was pretty well furnished and had great facilities.

The vanity was too close to the toilet. The aircon worked but took ages to find the best setting (need better instructions) and it was great to have a pod coffee machine but the instruxtions werent helpful (written instructions would have been useful).

Great welcome for the lady receptionist. Apartment (308) was very clean and comfortable, even the balcony chairs outside were very clean. Great layout and amenities with a lot of natural light. Large bathroom and a huge vanity and space. Parking on premises but one can easily walk to nearby shops. Very short walk to the coastal walkway and we would definitively recommend a short drive for a swim at the Black Beach (Centennial Park) . That was a highlight of the visit.

Great location. Great car parking. Really spacious mezzanine apartment, easily accommodated our family with two children. Excellent value.

As we booked with two children, we were surprised and disappointed to be sharing the balcony area with smoking guests. The smell was terrible, and we could not open the door or window.. Guests with children should absolutely not be put in a room that shares space with smoking guests, I really hope this can be fixed, as we would live to return.

Large well appointed room.. Excellent heat pump and comfy beds. Location was excellent. Close to everything. Free carpark.

One of the bedside lights was not working, The fan in the bathroom was not working. One of the heavy curtain rails did not have a "stop" in the centre end so when closing the curtain it just came straight off the rail. I did mention the light and the fan to reception and they said someone was coming to fix the fan next week.

Really friendly staff, very clean and comfortable. We were on the second floor, the room was well set out with a kitchen including a dishwasher and Coffee pod machine. The room was spotless with a good shower and king size bed. Ample assortment of different hot drink sachets including good quality tea and coffee. The hotel is an easy walk to town or the beach and has a great car park which is safe which meant we could leave the car and walk everywhere we wanted to go. We will definitely stay again when in town. Book ahead and you will get a great deal, you won’t be disappointed. Book the upper levels and you can also enjoy a small balcony. There is a lift for those who find stairs challenging.

The location is perfect. Walking distance to shopping center, restaurants, bars and cafes. The room was clean, and even the next day, when we went out for breakfast and returned, the cleaning fairies had been and gone, the bed was made, bathroom cleaned, fresh towels and although this is standard at motels, all the stuff we had left on the bed (not expecting the cleaners to have visited while we were gone so early) was just where we left them.

To be honest, there was nothing I didn't like, but since you asked, I was a little disappointed that our room appears to be the only room in the complex without a balcony, although this is possibly price reflective, so anyway, we will definitely stay again when next visiting New Plymouth.

Walking distance within city limits

Only that there were no windows (exception of one tiny one and too high for me) and temperature was automatically controlled and most of time perfect, but not good for most woman over 60 who are prone to fluctuating body temps., especially during the night Would choose a 2nd floor next time around and open sliding door a little.

Everything! Location, room, clean and tidy, had everything we needed, bed was comfortable, staff were lovely.

There was a slight damp odour in our room but once we opened the door and let some fresh air into the room the odour was gone, but we did notice it was still there when we would leave for the day and come back to the room, unsure what was causing it but it wasn’t something that bothered us too much as we loved everything else.

Arrived at hotel but beds were not what we asked for it was fixed in the end which was great. It was a little noisy we would have thought that the rooms would have been sound proof but they weren't but saying that it was very close to bars so it's to be expected I suppose
