Everything was provided for a great b'fast. Quiet, private setting. Lovely garden with view of the Mountain. Comprehensive notes on how to work everything. The actual layout of the kitchen / living was great - the actual kitchen could be cut off with sliding doors to make living room a relaxing, cosy space.

There was extra bedding available - e.g. mohair blanket. It would have been nice to have this on the bed when I arrived as it was cold the first night. When I had it for the last 2 nights it made all the difference.

This was one of the best accommodation we have stayed at during our travels thru New Zealand. It truly spoiled us and I believe we will have a hard time finding anything better. Great value for your money. The hosts were so lovely . There were a lot of little extras and their property was amazing. Extremely clean and so quiet. Comfortable bed and a wonderful shower

Nothing could have been better. The only down side was we only spent 2 nights could have easily stayed a few more days

Very thoughtful hosts. Breakfast is a DIY affair with all the ingredients and facilities provided - this is a small apartment set aside from the main house in a private setting with a great outlook over the beautifully maintained garden and pond set in its own piece of woodland - perfect for an extended stay and ideally positioned for visiting all of Taranaki Province

Unit was clean, comfortable, quiet, and private—we couldn't have asked for more. Especially appreciated the dozen eggs from their chickens and the honey from their bees. Owners were friendly and gave great activity suggestions. Thanks to them, we saw kiwis in the wild at a nearby reserve.

This was a little oasis of calm on our trip. Wish we had had more time to just hang out at the property. I enjoyed speaking with Stephen and Casey our hosts. They have done a lovely job renovating the property and it met all our needs and more. it was fun to wander around ... watch the chickens, smell the roses, pet the cat, view the pond. Fresh eggs, bread, cereal, milk, lovely yogart and drinks are provided in our kitchen for breakfast.

Everything was perfect 🤩 Superbly clean, lots of variety and options for breakfast, friendly hosts, beautifully kept grounds, very comfortable, sunny and warm, Comfortable bed, big shower with plenty of pressure, good off street parking, well equipped for self catering- the list goes on.

Nothing to complain about

The location was great, about a mile out of town. Breakfast was amazing with plenty of choice which included eggs from their chickens and honey from their bees. The owners were extremely welcoming and invited us to wander around and enjoy their beautiful garden. The property was tastefully furnished, spotlessly clean and with clever use of space.

There was nothing to dislike. I would definitely recommend Brecon Pond.

The accommodation is lovely and the cleanest place I have ever been to. It is quiet and just a 15 min walk to shops and eateries. We explored Mt Taranaki from here, you can see it from the driveway. The hosts are most helpful and very friendly.

This was the best accommodation in all of NZ! It was idyllic, clean and beautiful. The hosts Casey and Stephen are wonderful people and the garden is true paradise. They provide you with eggs and honey from their own animals and allow to take some veggies from the garden. The location is quiet and peaceful. you can even see the volcano from the front porch! I felt extremely safe and welcome here!

This bed and breakfast is the best we have stayed in. A very comfy bed. Absolutely everything you need. So many yummy breakfast things and treats in the Fridge. The view of the pond etc out the bedroom ranch slider was amazing. Beautiful gardens all round. The hosts are the best. Thank you so much for the 4 nights we had in a little haven. so quiet and peaceful
