Beautiful location with Mt Egmont right outside the window and the grounds were amazing. Lovely rooms very warm, clean and cosy. Really enjoyed the large spa bath after a cold day been outdoors all day. Owners were super friendly and helpful went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Would highly recommend the location to others.

Maybe microwave in the room would of been good (but not really space for one anyway) as we were staying for a week but there was a microwave available for everyone to use. Also would not be a problem for shorter stays as you still had a fridge, jug, toaster, fridge, cutlery and crockery. If you away for a break you don't want to be cooking anyway so not a problem.

Fabulous accommodation in park like gardens, views of Mt Taranaki from the lounge, plus the bath or shower if you so choose to open the doors. Spa bath a must after a winter's day walking in nearby National Park. Amazing sunrise and views of Mt Ruapehu to the East and Mt Taranaki behind, scenery incredible. Allow and book time for a spa treatment, facial or massage. Highly Recommend. No cooking facilities but does have toaster plus excellent choice of teas, coffee etc. Lovely host who provided fresh muffins on arrival. Close to Stratford if wanting to go out for a meal, accommodation was too nice to leave, so wine nibbles, toast and Cup of soup perfect end to the day.

The location was stunning with breathtaking views of of Taranaki. The gardens and well manicured lawns just enhanced the experience & views. Trish was a lovely hostess and a kind and considerate Manager, providing warm freshly baked biscuits and milk for our coffee on arrival. The milk was put in the old fashioned 300ml glass bottles, which was a nostalgic & environmentally thoughtful touch. Loved the experience.

Really beautiful room with fabulous view of Mount Taranaki. Had seats outside the room on the patio separated from next door with a trellis and shrubs. There was a wonderful jacuzzi bath and separate shower. Breakfast was lovely too, homemade muesli, yoghurt, fruit, bread, crumpets and English muffins. Great location, very quiet and peaceful, but just a few minutes drive to the National Park and great walks. Trish was great too, very friendly and helpful. Exceptional value for money. Would definitely recommend. There were facilities for massages etc, which we didn’t try.

With Mt Taranaki as a garden backdrop, these little units are adorable! Beautifully presented, spotless, good brekkie provisions (homemade apple compote, muesli) and whole meal bread/muffins with jams, honey and peanut butter. Coffee pot with delish coffee provided. Spa in bathroom for relaxing soak. And….gorgeous Rusty, cavoodle, to pat when you are missing your own pooch. Really enjoyed the stay!!

Place was clean, comfortable, quiet and lovely surroundings. So close to Mt. Taranaki too. Our hosts were Trish, David and of course the ever so happy to see you Rusty the Kaboodle, thank you for the great weekend :-)

The bathroom door catches quite a bit including that of the neighbouring guest which woke us up every time they went to the bathroom during the night, and we probably gave them broken sleep as well.

Was a last minute decision to stay here and we were over the moon once we saw where we would be staying. Rooms are spacious, tidy, comfortable and beautifully presented. After a long few days of travelling, the spa bath was exceptional. To top it off, there was a huge tea selection to choose from. Beds were super comfortable and could not recommend this as a place to stay enough.

Modern, clean, beautifully decorated among beautiful grounds. Peaceful and relaxing. Comfortable bed. Spa tub was huge but not straightforward to operate. Close to mountain. Wish we had better weather to open doors to garden and see Mt Taranaki. Nice breakfast that you prepare yourself in-room. Super friendly owner.

Lovely comfortable motel. Strong Wi-Fi, comfortable beds. Great situation near to the National park and great walking. Trish couldn’t have been kinder. Good views of Taranaki from the property. Beautiful clear sky wonderful for star watching. We were really pleased we’d decided to stay here.

Great place to stay with a view of Taranaki but unfortunately it was very cloudy during our stay. The place is maintained clean and easy access around the Stratford area and the mountain. The Jacuzzi with a view was the highlight of this place. Definitely recommended. Regards, Vinoth
