This motel was quiet and comfortable. It is an older-style motel, but well-appointed. The heating was excellent - there was a heat pump and an older panel heater, both of which worked just fine.

The list for breakfast didn't contain butter and I didn't notice until I realised none had been delivered. I was given far too much muesli, a very full bowl. The yoghurt I requested was not there, and instead I was given a pottle of 'calci yum' which is not at all the same thing. The television was all in an Asian language and I didn't know how to change it to English, so I gave up on watching anything and read my book! I suppose I could have rung and the manager would have come - he was very polite and apologetic when I pointed out about the butter when I checked out.

Loved the location, enjoyed a walk through the park with my don in the evening right across the road was perfect. Very quiet for sleeping Had everything we needed and felt clean.

We had trouble working the tv not that we need it so that was fine , wasn’t a problem for us . Being particular The shower was not ideal for short people unable to change hight of nozzle and the spray stream very fine and wide so hard to escape when your short .the extraction fan in the bathroom also smelt like it was going to catch fire so we didn’t use it which was tricky at night as it’s attached to the light. All in all we enjoyed our stay .

Very friendly staff at check-in and the room was lovely. We had a King Studio which was a nice big room. The room was spotlessly clean with lovely decor. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and there was good water pressure in the shower. The motel was in a lovely location close to town. Even though it is on the main highway into Hawera there was very little road noise. We really enjoyed our two night stay and would definitely stay again.

The room was very clean and comfortable and was serviced daily a delight to return to at the end of a very busy and full on day. We had a disability studio due to needing wheelchair access. The bathroom was clean and spacious. High water pressure made for a greater experience.

1. A larger rubbish bin in the kitchen or a wheelie bin outside for larger items. 2. Shower seating for ease and safety while showering. 3. Railing by the toilet.

I checked in late at night but was warmly greeted upon arrival. The room has a heat pump so I was able to warm the room up pretty quick as it was a colds winters night. I had a beautiful sleep and all round was happy with the facility. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend for others.

There was nothing NOT to like.

Although the facilities are not new, the room was spotless and quiet and the small kitchen was nice. We were also upgraded to a larger room free of charge. There is a parking place just in front of our room with easy access. The staff was very polite and friendly.

We booked in late and arrived late - it was such delight to walk into our room and it was lovely and warm - as the night was cold and wet.

The TV would not work - my husband wanted to watch the league in the morning but it was on the chineese channel - the staff were very obliging but were not able to rectify it.

Property was exactly as the images, great friendly staff and easy to check in and out. I also loved that the room was cleaned and towels restored everyday.

Bed was abit hard and uncomfortable, mattress toppers may be a great investment.

Was pretty good place only faults are it was just lacking in a few things such as very little milk and coffee. Movie channels would be great too.

We enjoyed the room's space, and the staff was awesome and helpful. The lighting is the only thing, but it is not a problem at all. It's a little dark because of the size of the space. Our kids loved it, and it was close to the pool and hub.
