We loved our room here. We did have the two bedroom apartment and it was so spacious and comfortable. It’s such a sweet touch that they offer you milk for your morning coffee in a little jug. The location is fantastic. You can walk into town in a couple minutes. The town is awesome. Several wonderful coffee shops with delicious food and lots of hippie vibes stores.

There is nothing not to like.

Very roomy and the central location meant I could walk a couple of minutes to shops, for dinner, etc. Everything I wanted or needed was there - peace, privacy, carpark, comfy bed, wifi, plenty of tv channels if needed, kitchen facilities, . Nice big fridge. Cute little furnished back garden area with the room to enjoy my book. Friendly and down-to-earth staff encounters.

The room we got was clean and well laid out. The kitchen had everything we needed. There was a pool on site. The location is directly at the bottom of town, so all the takaka shops are an easy walking distance. They have really cute gardens around the place, and it's well maintained. The staff is very helpful and nice.

There wasn't really anything to dislike. It was a pleasant stay.

It was very convenient being right in town. We liked the spaciousness, the two armchairs in their nook, and that the TV could be turned around. The kitchenette was well appointed and equipped. We enjoyed the little patio that we shared with our neighbours.

If the shower had glass surrounds, it would have been a lot less messy than curtains, but the towels used for mopping up could be replaced every day.

The hostess was exceptionally kind and understanding, because we had to cut the trip short due to sickness and we did not have to pay for the last two nights which we had booked. The unit was spacious and very comfortable. The location was ideal.

The pool had no suitable access for people with disabilities. My wife could not use it for that reason. The internet connection was weak and needed several rebooting to be able to use it properly.

Very clean and spacious. Everything we needed was available including a helpful hose for cleaning the car after unsealed road travel!

Our unit was right next to the road so if you don’t sleep well it’s very noisy despite being a small town. Ask for a unit further away!

We rented the family suite with two bedrooms. It was huge. Lots of natural light, with a small private patio in the back. The kitchen works well, there are BBQs on site, and it is a short walk to shops and restaurants. Comfy beds and a couple of electric heaters for the cool nights.

We had a spacious unit with a good kitchen, comfortable bed and two comfortable armchairs to relax in. It is very handy to the shops and cafes being within easy walking distance. Parking was right at our door. We didn’t use the covered pool but it was there if we wanted.

While the unit was great for a longer stay there was nowhere to store groceries.

We came out of a multi day tramp, an on-site laundry was perfect, plus the room was huge, much bigger than normal, so we had plenty of space to organise our gear and repack. Lovely staff and easy walking distance to town, food and bars.

In a great spot, handy to town. On the main street but very quiet. Love that they have recycling available. Lovely spacious room.

The walk in shower had water going across the floor, behind the toilet. Didn't happen with my husband so my (lack of) height obviously worked against me.
