Lovely cosy units, clean and tidy, spacious and comfortable. Heat pump and comfy couch made the lounge area very comfortable to spend time in. A bit dated but they've done a great job with making the units as tidy and nice as possible given the age of the motel. We really enjoyed our stay and I wanted to stay for longer. We've also previously stayed there with our dog and its great that they are dog friendly. Also the staff were very nice and friendly and happily arranged a later check out time for us. Will definitely stay again.

Our favourite place we stayed while travelling for 3 weeks. The accommodations are absolutely perfect with everything you might need. The host was friendly and helped us with a late check in. Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean and quiet. Great shower and toilet. Our room had a kitchenette with table and chairs in one end. Other end had the extra bed and next to that was a nook with two comfy chairs and a coffee table (good for playing games on). There was the master bedroom with a big wardrobe. Bathroom had sink and shower cubicle with a toilet attached. Parking was right outside unit and it is an easy location to get to as on main road. Despite being next to the main road, you don't hear the noise from the traffic, so don't let that deter you. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and could easily have stayed there for a long time. Will def return for another stay.

everything was good and enjoyable.

parking could be a lot better and more doable if there were white markings for angle parking outside each room. as it was, other people had parked parralel to their rooms, which made it awkward for the one next door.

Thank you so much for me stay for only night. the room was neat and tidy, both beds were comfortable everything in the room was perfect also having a nice warm shower from the long drive. also thanks to the lady at the reception desk she was so lovely. the only disappointment for me was the noise of the trucks and cars but overall I really enjoyed my stay. definitely coming back again and bringing my niece and nephew with me. plus everything was close by like Woolworth etc. i recommend this motel to my families and friends. prices of the room was spot on and last minute booking for me. I definitely give Rosetowel Motel a 10/10. and i will also rate it a 5 star ✨️. Thank you thank you so much.

The noise of the trucks and cars and on the main road.

The Staff were amazing to deal with which was refreshing considering our situation. We arrived in town last minute for a funeral and explained that we had only got into town that morning. Within 15mins of booking they were able to accommodate us with our room for the stay which was a life saver after traveling all night. They were very polite and made the process very easy to check in and check out. Highly recomend

How the staff washed our dishes daily, totally unexpected, what a treat. The beds were comfy as, it was a treat to have one to ourselves for a change

The bathroom could do with an extractor fan. The parking was a hit and miss, was hard to park outside our unit depending how others had parked as some parked in to our space, lucky there was a place to park away from the front of our unit. Not good in the rain though.

How clean the unit was, the layout was perfect for parents in a room, 2 younger kids in the other room and the teenager on a proper bed in the lounge area. Location was handy to where we needed to go, easy to find. Great units being all ground levels and being able to park the car right outside the door. The unit was easy to heat up & was cosy for us. Thank you so much for having us ,☺️

Lock on the bathroom door wasn't lined up enough to lock the kids out when trying to have me time.. The two seater recliner only had one that reclined the other was broken but wasn't a big deal, just a lot of squabbling from the younger two both wanting the reclined seat.

Great room upgrade Unit 1 to Unit 6 - away from the road - didn't hear a thing :) Liked the separate bedroom Very nice set up, cosy lounge area, practical seating area Good kitchen area with a good selection of appliances to use. Impressed with the cleanliness.

Expected tissues but couldn't find any, Bed was comfy, just a bit bouncy. Shower stall was quite high to step up into. Shower took a bit of playing with to get it to the right temperature, a little move = too hot, little move = too cold.

Room has everything you need. Bed is firm and comfortable, aircon is great during the hot & humid summer days, room configuration and high ceiling makes it feel spacious and the shower has good pressure. What I’ve loved most is this place embodies the most perfect small town kiwi summer spot especially with the pool and BBQ available. I was also extremely grateful for the customer service/reception who was very understanding when an unplanned family emergency occurred. We’ve been around the world in overpriced resorts but nothing feels better than a place that resembles home.

The shower did seem a little blocked but didn’t affect showering enough for it to be unusable or cause any flooding. Water just emptied slowly. No biggie.

The safe at the Rosetown Motel made it very easy to checkin. The bed was comfortable. The shower pressure was great. The room was clean and inviting. Because I was checking in late I appreciated the small details like the air pump already been switched on before I arrived. The light being on so I wasn't walking into darkness and the layout of the room.
