The place is right on the lake and a few kms from town. The staff was super friendly and laidback. The toilets and kitchen were really clean. And we enjoy meeting other travelers while sharing a table over dinner. It’s an affordable stay! Our kids loved playing around

We were in a cube so you can imagine it was really small. I wished there were hangers or something to put our clothes or hang towels. Also the room got really hot if it was sunny during the day. Nights were chilly and comfortable.

Lovely outdoor area to sit in and lets kids run around. Cool playground as well. Very close to lake so easy access for a swim.

Was quite expensive in comparison to similar accommodation. Room description included spa bath, its a normal bath with jets in it. Warning sign in the kitchen that guests will be charged extra if they leave dirty dishes. I think for the price charged for the room it should not be up to the guests to make sure it's left clean.

The staff is friendly and very responsive. By keeping constant communication, it gives us peace of mind before checking in. The location is awesome (we stay here to visit Aoraki Mount Cook the next day). It's literally at Lake Ruataniwha as the name suggests which for me is a hidden gem. I haven't heard much compared to other lakes of it but it's so stunning. The price is also very affordable which makes the shared facilities understandable. Overall, we have great experience. Thank you for accommodating us.

They are still busy renovating the park so not all is in perfect shape already. Wi-fi is still a bit up and down (they informed me in advance about this).

Cube units are quite small. Be aware if you have more than 2 people, it will be squishy

Kian was absolutely lovely: friendly, welcoming, helpful. The cabin with the private bathroom was spacious, clean and comfortable. Free WiFi was good. Water pressure in the bathroom was good

The bed is clean and the location is perfect. You can see stars and galaxy if the sky is clear. They are near to nature so some animals like cat might come visit.

The staff were able to meet request for an upgrade even though it was late in the day. It was a close space to Mt Cook which reduced travel time It was all very clean and comfortable

Great location between both Mount Cook and Lake Tekapo. Lovely staff and friendly dog :)

Small heater stays warm enough even on icy day! The price is perfect - for stargazing and road trips.

The kettle in the room has a little be bad contact. If more than one person is using the bathroom, the water pressure will drop significantly.
