The property had everything we needed to allow us to either stay home and prepare our own meals or take time out eating at local restaurants. We had access to all necessary kitchen facilities including a BBQ and back deck with table and chairs. The apartment was clean, well appointed and comfortable. The view from our apartment was really lovely and we had easy access to Emily Bay for swimming and other places for walks or golf.

Our only issue was the noise that carried from our next door apartment which was largely a design flaw. The next door living area was right next to ours and there is no insulation between the units. You could hear every conversation and every noise associated with cooking, tv etc which at times was a bit irritating. Fortunately there was no issue with noisy children or people having parties.

THe owners were very welcoming. I like there was plenty of tea/coffee, some spices and oil in cupboard. Sitting on the small balcony we had a lovely view and some ocean views as well. The property and gardens are all well kept. Parking was very handy . Starlink WIFI was great and fast. We like to come back.

We stayed a week and would have liked a mid week clean/and new sheets. Bedroom very small and we had trouble with our 2 suit cases. But we managed ha!

King bed that can be split into two singles. While it provides flexibility in room configuration its unevenness in the centre never works as well as a genuine queen or king bed. Lounge chairs not ideal, awkward for older guests. night lights in car park could be brighter.

Close to town. Everything you need including things like umbrella, torch, coffee plunger and scissors, icepack, phone for use. A few condiments. Ceiling Fan in bedroom and also a portable fan. Clothes line in your private enclosed courtyard. Shared laundry. Screened windows. Lovely grounds.

Nothing really but could hear people in adjoining rooms but wasn’t a problem.

The location was perfect - great views, quiet and a 2min drive to centre of Burnt Pine. Ash was very professional, courteous and informative. Marie was excellent in responding to any questions we had when we booked the property. Everything was just easy and simple. No stress at all.

This garden apartment is really great, the location is very good, everything in the house is very new, the cleanliness is no less than that of a five-star hotel, the facilities are complete, the surrounding environment is beautiful and the air is fresh, very suitable for vacation, the host is a Very friendly Norfolk people. I am a backpacker and did not rent a car. He not only picked me up to the airport for free, but also drove me to visit all the attractions of the island. Norfolk is really beautiful. Had a great trip to the island! Many thanks for his help!

Our apartment was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. It included some extra touches such as umbrella, torch, picnic basket, esky and thermos. Also, a mobile phone for our use (pay for calls only) so we didn't need a local sim. Friendly and helpful hosts met us at the airport and organised our hire car.

Very clean, accessible. Owners were very hospitable - friendly and helpful. They always went the extra mile - even to the point of delivering my forgotten hat to me at the airport as I was about to leave. Magnificent!

Host was very welcoming and gave us all the information we needed.

Shower was abit small and lounge chairs not that comfortable but overall was clean and tidy and close to town. View was wonderful and it was quiet. I would stay there again.

There was much to like about our Cascade Garden Apartment. It was clean, peaceful, lovely gardens, nice view and a constant sea breeze through the apartment. Owner Ash met us up at the airport and we followed him to the apartment in our rental car. Ash gave us a housekeeping brief then left us to enjoy our stay in Norfolk Island. Co-owner Marie was very accommodating in letting us checkout an hour late. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone wanting a partly self-catering stay. If visiting Norfolk Island, don't miss Emily Bay for swimming and Slaughter Bay (adjacent to Emily Bay) for great snorkelling.
