The hotel is good located. It is very central and it is not far to the ferry terminal. Check in and out was fast and uncomplicated. We had the big 5 Person room. It has lots of space. The beds are good and we sleept well. Our pets were also welcome. Everything was clean and we had a good stay here.

Only the parking situation is difficult. The hotel doesn't has its own parking lot and there was a construction site so you couldn't park in front of it. We parked in the nearest parking garage and then carried our things to the hotel.

We spent only 1 night on Kristiansand and we chose this place due to nearness of the harbor. Tiny room, but clean room - with no special view, but it was not important for such a short stay. Free coffee at the reception and basic guest kitchen. Parking is not free of charge, either in a parking house (few meters from the hotel) or street parking in the next street - limit: 1 or 2 hours / day! The hotel is situated in the real center, close to everything.

I was cycling to Oslo, but arrival to Kristiansand was around midnight or so. So I was thinking were to book for the night stay. I've spoken to one guy in Hilstras while was waiting to join a ferry. And he advised me a hotel. So when I left a ferry in Kristiansand I was surprised to find it so close to port exit. I found it very convenient as for location and other things. The coffee on a reception, 24 hours duty on a reception, big room to leave a bike with all stuff. So I didn’t need to drag all my things like bags and tent to my room at night after the trip. I just needed to take a shower, charge my electronics and sleep. So it was good

Staff nice and helpful. Well located next to train station and city centre (5' walk). Internet working on the 3rd floor. Room big enough for one but I see why it could be small for 2.I guess I was lucky with the work outside, they only started at 9 am when I was there. They are allowed to start at 7 am so it shouldn't be a problem if you need to wake up early or you come at the weekend. The works are on 3 sides of the hotels so there is no way to escape it.

When the neighbours open and close their door, the whole floor moves with it The water in the shower was barely warm to start with and quickly cold, even though I spent only 10 minutes in the shower.

I was pleasantly surprised actually! I didn't really expect much, due to the low price, but the room was clean and bigger than I expected, and the bed was very comfortable. Large windows, nice view. The only thing was that the room was very cold. Other than that, I will definitely use Citybox again!

I didn't dislike anything, other than the temperature in the room. It was cold! But it didn't ruin my experience :-)

Basic but comfortable, easy to check in on the machine but staff available and happy to help when needed

Slightly harder to get to than expected because there was road works blocking the pavement on the shortest route from the station. This wasn't obvious untill you're at the corner of the hotel but can't get to it without walking the opposite way around the block. Could have done with a heads up about the roadworks that look like they'll continue for a while

It's in a nice location not far from the Harbour and not far from town and many places to eat. I will it's a pretty simple process arriving and leaving and the room was clean with a comfy bed.

Demolition work right right next to the building finishing at 19:00 and starting at 07:00. The hotel offers ear plugs. I we had an early. Leave so it was OK but it is really really important to be notified of this before a beautiful booking is made. I not sure how much longer this will go on and maybe the pricing reflects this currently.

The best hotel receptionist i have encountered during my holiday in Norway. She was extremely helpful and welcoming. She has helped me to find where to park and made my day. The hotel is close to the ferry and it is dog friendly and there is a car park near. Highly recommend if you are in Kristiansand. Thanks for your hospitality.

I've stayed just for one night.

Good person at reception so super friendly and nice helpt me with questons about stay in in city. Realy did go that extra mile that so few do. Got priceles help hope you get this feedback back to your personel.

To few chanels on television, could hawe been more. That the only thing i reflected ower so realy noting negative about my stay only positive.

Location. 7 min away from the bus station. Nice personnel. Tidy room and clean bathroom.

The window in my room was right in front of the window of another building - the workers from the nearest project site organised utility room there. Thus, i had to keep the curtains closed the whole day 😁
