It was easy to find the hotel after turning from the highway E18, but see below. It is a simple hotel but for staying overnight when being on vacation it is great. They do have a few charging outlets for your electric car, but not any super chargers. The breakfast was OK but did not have everything I was looking for.

As it is very close to the highway E18 it in this case means that it takes some 10-15 minutes to walk down to the center of Grimstad, which is were you find all restaurants etc. Driving down is not the best option as it is a small town with narrow streets...

We were extremely pleased with this accommodation for our overnight stay. The owner welcomed us warmly, our room was upgraded to an apartment. Since we had to leave early, our breakfast was prepared in advance and placed in the fridge, so we didn’t miss anything. The apartment was very quiet and comfortable, we had a short but great rest.

Nothing to mention

The breakfast was excellent. The fried eggs, potatoes and sausages tasted like homemade.

The traffic from the highway was quite loud, so because of that we would not sleep with the windows open like we normally do. But of course the staff cannot do anything about that.

No sound insulation so could get loud in the morning. Most reakfast items already ran out at 9:30

Good location, very quiet, plenty of parking space. Beds are alright, it's very clean as well. Breakfast is very good and the staff was very pleasant. Not a bad place to stay overall.

The kitchenette had just a microwave and a bridge, no stovetop. No proper cutlery, just a few wooden forks and paper plates. No hair dryer either.

Easy to locate in a good location off the highway. Nice walk to a pretty little town with restaurants. Parking onsite. Enjoyed the breakfast. Friendly reception staff.

Bed was not comfortable.

The personnel welcoming, helpfulness and service minded. A shed was made accessible to lock-in our e-bikes. We could gather around a good bottle of red wine (available to a reasonable price), in an open-TV-lounge before going to bed. Good beds, very clean room, quite area. Good breakfast ended with delicious "home made" apple-rhubarb pie.

Distance to town center (about 20' walk)… but compensated by the quietness of the area.
