Super comfortable bed, large room and best location. Most importantly, the staff is super helpful and goes the extra mile every time. They sorted me out with a taxi while I was desperately trying to get one (during a blizzard) after I ordered it for the wrong day. The staff didn't even ask me, they simply understood the situation and suddenly told me "a taxi is on its way, tro minutes". I'll stay there every time I need a hotel in Kristiansand.

The hotel is in a great location to food and shopping, the inside restaurant and breakfast is delicious, and the family room was the perfect fit for our family of 4 (kids 2&5). These are the coziest beds we’ve slept in in any hotel prior (and we travel a lot!). Loved our stay and would have been happy to stay longer.

Or only negative: not enough onshore parking (we parked at the shopping mall around the block) and no loading/unloading zone. That’s always a challenging time with small children.

It was very posh - I had to check I was in the right hotel. The room was very nice with great facilities. The location was excellent- walking distance from all the attractions in Kristiansand.

It was a shame the hotel parking couldn’t fit my motorcycle in, but I did find free street parking only 100m away. Also breakfast didn’t start until 10:00am instead of 7:00 because it was Sunday - people want an early start for travelling every day.

I was given the impression in the booking that the hotel would provide a parking space, but when I got there, there where no spaces available. Luckily they where able to give me directions to a public parking facility and it worked out fine. Although I only stayed there two nights, I did miss that there were no drawers or cupboards for clothing. If I had stayed for a longer stay, this would have been an inconvienience. Also I did notice the lack of hoocks in the bathroom. But if you are only staying for a day or two, this hotel is wonderful. Very good breakfast and friendly and helpful staff. Not to mention the location, in the middle of the town. All in all a very good stay for me and my sister.

The lack of drawers and cupboards. And as my sister is a vegan, it would have been nice to not have to ask for vegan alternatives at the breakfast buffet. In this day and age, I believe the vegan alternatives need to be served like any other dish in the breakfast buffe.

The room was very clean and modern. Bed was comfortable. Very central location. The breakfast is quite reach in terms of selection and will get you going for the day. If you need parking and don't mind walking a bit, you could use Gyldengården P-Hus which is a bit further away but cheaper than Torvet Parkeringhus which hotel would suggest you.

I think the ventilation was making a bit too much noise but since I always use earplugs in hotels, that wasn't an issue for me.

The shower, dimmable light settings and in general the cosy room, kettle with cup and green tea in room, fridge to put my water bottle inside, helpful and very friendly staff, relaxed check-out time, variety of food for breakfast, distance to the ferry port

no vehicle unloading zone in front of the building, the toilet paper could be softer

We got a very quiet room, very comfortable bed had a great night sleep. Breakfast is really good with lots of choices. The location is perfect - walking distance to all attractions and restaurants and 5 minutes to the ferry. Paid for parking at the hotel, parked the car and just walked directly to the hotel through the back door. Very satisfied with my stay.

Great location in the middle of the city centre. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast.

Parking, from the other side of the hotel, is located on the 2. floor within the hotel building. Very tight spaces, but secure. Pillows a bit too soft for my liking. A small drawer for clothes would be nice.

Perfect hotel for an overnight stay between ferry from Denmark and inland Norway. Comfortable soft beds, good bathroom, the best breakfast I've ever seen. Late checkout, parking closeby, 24h reception.

Excellent hotel - very friendly staff, nice and comfortable rooms, great breakfast buffet with lots of options and central location. I never felt more at home in a hotel! Thank you so much to the entire staff!!
