Perfect location! We just happened to book in on Norway Independence Day and were right there for all the festivities. The band marched to the end of the street then they ran back to watch the FireWire the whole town running after them. Our gal that checked us in had to deal with a bunch of young guys that obviously had been celebrating a bit too much. She handled them quite professionally and commented that she was to protect her clientele. Well done! She also order a take-a-way breakfast for us since we had to catch an early ferry to Hirtshals, Denmark.

It was perfect for our needs. Better than expected!

I enjoyed a good breakfast, a very good bed, good room and it was silent. I had good service and friendly personel that was helpful. The hotel is at a great location and I paid a good price for it. They even got parking below the hotel, but I came by train this trip. Also nice that Thon Hotel have an app you can use to open your room and save points. Even booking.com bookings can be saved when you talk with reception.

I don't like the new showerhead. The new showerhead didn't fit in it's socket so it couldn't be adjusted and kept falling out. The head isn't big enough. I expected more luxury with a rainfall big ceiling shower. And a handshower that can be put on any height and direction. The soap was a bit bland. I'm sure you can get a higher quality spa soap in there with additional soaps, shampoo and creams. I don't mind it and I enjoy my stay either way, but that would make it even better.

Young man at reception was welcoming. Room was clean and modern. Large TV on wall. Breakfast was brilliant with a lots of choices. Loads of cafes, restaurants and shops nearby.

Tea, coffee and electric kettle was high up where you hanged your coat. Two Steps to hotel entrance was not suitable for wheelchair or walking stick users as no handrails. Step up to bathroom in our room is not suitable for wheelchair users. Have to book well in advance if you want underground parking - about a month. No cupboards or chest of drawers in room. We did not need any as we stayed overnight.

Everything! Great breakfast! You can order capiccino or hot chocolate! They provide you with good quality and a smiling face. Staff at the hotel is very professional! Very freindly and welcoming. TV is great. You can watch netflix or youtube. Relax at night by connecting your phone by screen mirroring. I am planning to stay again.

Everything was perfect. Depending on the room you get it can be noisy since its very close to the sentrum. But its fine.

Helpful Staff at the respsjon,clean and varm rom ,cosy and clean bathroom,godd and variety food for brekfast .Generaly all very good ,plus everything in the center with a lot shopping and Caffè,pues or restaurant

Parking that you have to pay extra 375 nok in the hotel and the other choice on the next street in the basement for 175 nok ,not so good on cold rainy days walking there from hotel

This was a simply one-night stopover for us, before boarding ferry to Denmark. The location was convenient and they provided us with a bagged breakfast, since our departure was before breakfast opened. We also arrived on the evening of a very loud 90's rock party on the adjoining block (near the church) so were worried that late night concert noise would be a problem. They happily put us in a room facing the other direction and the noise was not an issue at all.

Parking was not available so I was given directions to another garage. Instead, I parked on the street, as our arrival and departure were outside of the required parking times. This worked out fine.

The breakfast was on average. There is not much variations to be selected, in particular, not so many types of sausages. The location is very good, just a few minutes walk distance to bus stop of airport bus, the Nr.35. The room was quite large.

The curtains in the room were not that good. I could not cover the windows totally. So, it remained quite bright during the night because of the light on street.

The hotel is located right in the centre of Kristiansand, which makes it easy to visit and find restaurants on foot. The rooms are clean, modern and functional, but lack a view. Great breakfast!

The directions and instructions for the carpark should be much clearer. We (and at the same time many other customers who were on our ferry) lost about 30 minutes driving around and getting our car parked.

Easy check-in with friendly staff. We had requested a quiet room and definitely got one. Lots of quirky artwork throughout the hotel made things feel less bland than these types of hotel often do.

The hotel car park was full which meant we had to park in one of the public car parks a few minutes away. Restaurant wasn't open when we arrived. We had to leave early to catch the ferry to Denmark, which meant that we didn't have time to sit down for breakfast - we asked if we could take breakfast with us to eat on the ferry, but were charged extra for this despite breakfast being included with our room.

Nice modern hotel in the city center of Kristiansand. Hotel has private underground parking which can be reserved. Very nice breakfast but not enough seating. We stayed 2 nights and had to leave before breakfast the last night, but the hotel provided a breakfast bag.

Rooms rather small, probably not ideal for a longer stay with more luggage. On the more expensive side.
