The rooms were very spacious and clean, all the listed amenities were included! The hotel is central and close to bus stops, cafes, supermarkets etc.. We visited Kristiansand during the winter time otherwise we could have enjoyed the inner cohort for a cup of coffee. We had a small problem with the room and despite being a "self-hotel", we called the customer service number and a d employee came immediately to help us! Everything was clean and we enjoyed our stay very much! 100% recommended

The hotel is a "self-hotel", meaning that there is not a physical personnel. It was not a problem at all and they were available 24/7. However it could be better explained when booking as it was not very clear on "the booking" app. It was very well explained on the KRS hotel website though.

The hotel does not have a reception and we did not interact with any staff. The doors are opened with an app which is activated when it is time to check in. The check in process is done online in advance. This made for a very quick and easy check-in at the hotel. The hotel is in the city center of Kristansand in walking distance of everything. The room was large, modern, well kept and clean, and the beds were comfortable. Parking can be done anywhere in the city centre, as everywhere is within walking distance.

The hotel met all our expectations, there was nothing not to like.

Nice, spacious room with facilities (couch, chairs, TV, great desk to work at, kettle with coffee and tea) on a good location at the edge of the city centre. Near 2 grocery stores, busstops with multiple lines and in walking distance of the city centre (max. 5 minutes, 15 minutes to the bus-/trainstation). Comfortable bed. Very clean room and bathroom, the bathroom has heated floors. Nice view outside. Was able to enter early at 2 p.m.. Breakfast available at Nordic hotel for 25% discount.

With windows open it can be quite noisy outside with all the busses, but in the evening and at night it's quiet. With the windows close you don't hear anything at all. Explanation about the process with the doorkey app and when /where available could've been a bit clearer, but in the end I've got it working. Didn't got the TV to work, probably batteries of the remote, but didn't really try to fix it either.

I stayed at this hotel and was disappointed to find out that there is no reception. To access the room, you need to download an app, which was frustrating. I had issues with my phone and couldn’t get in at first. Thankfully, I was able to call and someone helped me over the phone to solve the problem. While the support was helpful, the whole process was inconvenient and not ideal, especially for travelers who may not have working phones or internet access right away.

Nice location. Room was clean. We stayed in the family room which was spacious even with a baby cot added and the sofa bed in use. Bed is comfortable. It is right next to a bus stop but if you keep the windows closed there is not much traffic noise.

There is no staff on location and doors are opened with an app. It works fine but unfortunately we received no information about this beforehand (how it works, name of app etc). During online check-in it said that we would receive this information on day of arrival but it never came. We were able to get in with help from another hotel guest. The sofa bed is quite uncomfortable.

Very very spacious room, clean, all basic commodities present. The location is good, not far from the central street, but still silent, the seaside is easily reached by foot. Excellent entry with mobile app, had an option for free to check-in at 12 regardless of default 3p.m. on description. Perfect value for the price.

Missed hanger for wet clothes or towels, didn't find a way to turn of table lamp separately from full apartment lights switch. Would love to have socket usb charger nowadays.

The location was perfect for our trip. Lots of food options and coffee bars nearby and a short walk to the city center. The room was simple and clean, comfortable beds. The overall feeling of safety is so nice when visiting Norway.

Hot water kettle was moldy, and the one time we had housekeeping the door was left open. Nothing was missing but it made us not have housekeeping back to our room for the rest of our stay. Contactless hotel also meant we weren't easily able contact the hotel direct to discuss.

The hotel is nicely located in front of the bus stop. I travelled for work so it was very convenient. Moreover, it is easily walkable to the city center (8 minutes). Did not meet anyone in person, though the staff was responsive via booking.com.

Nothing to underline. It would be nice if they would provide glass cups instead of paper, which was not very comfortable while drinking hot drinks.

The Queen's bed was superb. The room was very big, and the bathroom was spacious.

* We didn't want to use the app, and the check-out procedure turned out to be somewhat cumbersome. There is no hotel reception as such. You have to take the key card downstairs, navigate through several corners to reach a music hall, and then look for a small box behind a desk to drop the card in. It took us a while to find it because the sign only instructed us to go downstairs, without further details. * The toilet paper was stacked vertically on a pole fixed to the floor, which was not the most convenient setup, though this was likely due to the toilet being situated in an 'interesting' spot in the bathroom.

Clean and near to the city center, large rooms, modern equipment, good black curtains - for summer in Norway it is big adventage

Fridge was outside of the room, the building is labyrinth - we couldn't find the entrance and place for breakfast as well... The breakfast was really simple - only one tyoe of ham, one type of cheese, 2 types of jam, one type of not really good coffee and that is pretty much all. They also forgot to gave us towels and receotion works only till 1 pm so when we came we did not know who should we contact about that so we satisfied with towels we had ready for our Norway trip.
