The room was spacious and clean, newly renovated and with a huge balcony! It had everything we needed and more; the bed was very comfortable, the tv was fairly big and had a chrome cast giving us the chance of watching what we wanted (very much appreciated!) and there was a good selection of products for showering. The location is perfect to explore the area and has plenty of free parking spots around in case. Breakfast was also tasty although with very limited options. Everyone was super kind to us and the pizzeria downstairs had really good pizzas for very reasonable prices. The room also had a kitchenette. Dogs are welcome which for us is a must!

It’s nothing that I didn’t like but I am leaving these here more as a suggestion: - the kitchenette in the room is a nice touch so you can make your own food but it has a stove and no pots and pans and since no one brings its own when staying in a hotel it is basically a waste of space. Also, our room had spoons and knives as cutlery but no forks so maybe the kitchenette part needs a little rethinking :) - the breakfast as said it’s tasty but it is a little boring after the third day. You get coffee, orange juice, 3 slices of bread with butter and strawberry jam and a choice between either omelette with cheese and ham or English breakfast. Maybe consider a little more variation?

We had an amazing stay at this lovely hotel. The view over the surrounding mountains was absolutely breathtaking, with a serene river running right next to the property — a true postcard setting! The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, combining comfort and charm with no compromises. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the large bathroom featured high-quality Rituals products, which was a nice touch of luxury. The kitchenette was very well equipped, including a microwave, stovetop, plates, and everything else we needed for light cooking. The atmosphere was peaceful and quiet, making it a perfect place to relax. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and the location was both central and convenient. Stryn Hotel and Apartments is located at the top end of the Stryn main street and easy access to shops. Free parking is provided and there is an EV charging station (for a fee) next to the carpark. The location is very quiet and the room spacious, with a nice balcony. WiFi was excellent and streaming services such as Netflix were available on the TV. The apartment provided a washing machine and drying rack and a fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher. The bathroom was warm and had plenty of room with a good shower. Anders, was extremely friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our stay.

Only one bowl in the kitchen and only limited kitchen items for cooking. The room is long and narrow so can be a little dark at one end.

There was nobody there to ask questions. For international travelers this is a problem as we cannot easily call local numbers

Stryn house was exactly as described. It was located in a quiet road with a 10min walk into the village and shops. It was a 5mins walk to the river and from there you can hike up though the woods following the beauituful river. The house was clean with super comfortable beds ( best beds we have ever slept in while traveling in Norway) lovely relaxing furniture with a nice terrace and had everything we needed in the kitchen. It included a car parking space right outside. Clear and concise directions on how to find the place. We had a wonderful relaxing weekend in Stryn and enjoyed Loen too.

We stayed in a great little apartment. The bathroom was fabulous with a BIG shower and plenty of room to move around in. Plus there was a washing machine in there too. The kitchen was great and had a dishwasher and a big fridge. The bed was comfortable and in a separate room and there was a big patio off the living area with a view of the mountain. It is a new building right in the middle of the town so it was in a fabulous location and there was parking right outside the door. Anders, the manager, was THE best!! He was not only welcoming and friendly, he allowed us into our room early, which was a huge bonus, as we were trying to kill time until we could check in. Not only that, we had an issue with the stove top while cooking dinner at 9pm and he didn't hesitate to come straight over to sort it out for us (the issue was us not knowing how the stove worked...not the actual stove!).

The only thing I could say here is that there is no actual dining table and chairs to eat at, so we had to eat on the couch with our plates on the coffee table, which was a bit awkward, but not a big deal at all!

There was no reception as such, we had to check in at the Italian restaurant next door, very impersonal. The room was quite small and the TV was smashed although it had only recently happened and a new one was on order.

We loved our stay here! The view of the mountains and the river nearby was stunning. The room was spacious, charming, and very comfortable, with a large bathroom and quality Rituals products. The well-equipped kitchenette had everything we needed. It was quiet and peaceful, yet centrally located. The staff were friendly and welcoming

Modern, spacious and airy room, full glass window and door leading to balcony. Large comfortable bed. Good bathroom and lighting. Quite at night. Parked outside. USB attachments to bedside sockets. Good WiFi. No elevator, only one flight of stairs.

The hotel could make the entrance and steps a bit more appealing.
