The hotel is newly opened, only 9 days ago. The location is on a very beautiful mountainside overlooking the quiet small villages located deep in the valley and the pomegranate and rose farms nearby. The rooms are clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is very tasty and ordered from the menu taking into consideration the sustainability of resources in comparison with the buffet. Special compliments to the chef :-)

The checking in and out are taking more time than usual, probably due to the new opening system. The staff in the restaurant are taking care of the needs of the visitors by asking them, which is good, but they need to minimise the frequency of asking as the visitors need also privacy .

How does anyone not give this hotel a good review?...it's truly amazing! It is a little haven in just a spectacular location. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The room was just unbelievable.. it's the kind of place that makes you smile and you can't stop! I had a view of the pool and dining area below and the incredible mountain scene and the facilities were excellent..bathroom toiletries, lots of towels. Comfortable couch, bowl of fruit, massive bed. The breakfast outside on the terrace was just so good, so delicious and the choices were endless. The service was impeccable. Wished I could have stayed longer to enjoy other facilities such as the rooftop bar and spa. Also..Oman is better than I could have ever imagined.

Specious room, and we have a sofa that converts to bed, which is perfect for kids. Cleanliness and accessories. Staff treatment 5 star. Location and view are wonderful. The food is very good. Pools, GYM, and kids' activities are good, and we are waiting for the kids' club to be ready in a few months.

Many people visiting the hotel who are not residents of the hotel are entering many places like the restaurant, the pool area, and the view sitting area. Looby coffee shop has good sweets, but prices are overrated (very high prices) The mini bar (nuts and dried fruits small jars) are very, very expensive 14 OMR (too much for such small portions). Other five start hotels are providing this as complimentary

The breakfast was delicious and a lot of verities. Staff is very friendly. The location was superb 👌.

The view from the hotel is spectacular. The breakfast was great. The hotel is very fresh, everything shining new and nice. The pool area is one of the best I've visited across 84 countries =)

You MUST have a 4x4 car to get to the location - and the hotel doesn't provide this information neither at its Booking page, nor at its website. This should've been mentioned in a separate message - but alas, it comes as a surprise when you try to enter the road going up the mountains. The hotel transfer from the checkpoint is outragesly expensive, circa 200 usd both ways. But you can find a local driver to help you at a more reasonable price.

Beautiful, new hotel build in an amazing location. Staff were professional and friendly, particularly Raemae and the restaurant. We were upgraded to a room that was very spacious and comfortable, offering amazing views over the valley. Our child profited from recreation activities offered by the hotel. We profited from the gym, and yoga classes. In this context I’d like to mention Arora, the excellent yoga instructor.

To get to the hotel you need to have a 4x4 car. This information isn’t provided on the site nor it was mentioned at the time I’ve made the booking, or in the exchanges of emails I had with the hotel after. Two days before arrival I received a reminder of this requirement, which was already after we rented a car for our stay, not 4x4. The hotel organised a pick up for us at double the “normal” rate, while our rented car was waiting in the parking lot for 3 days. This information should be more clearly provided also on booking.com

Our experience at Hotel Indigo was fantastic overall. We were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade, and the space felt brand new — like visiting someone’s beautiful home. The design of the hotel is sleek and modern, and the restaurants and top-floor views are absolutely stunning. The live DJ added a great vibe to the atmosphere, but it wasn’t too loud, so it was perfect for a relaxed evening. The highlight, by far, was the gym — without a doubt the best hotel gym I’ve ever used! There was even a personal trainer on-site, and he was incredibly helpful in showing me how to use the equipment properly.

The only downside was breakfast. The watermelon seemed to be a day old and the overall selection didn’t match the quality we were expecting for the price. We ended up having breakfast just once and then opted for a nearby restaurant, where the food and prices were both fantastic. Also, the water pressure in the shower wasn’t great, and it took quite a while for the water to flow, which could definitely use some attention. Despite these minor issues, Hotel Indigo was a great stay, and we’d love to return!

I recently had the pleasure of spending a weekend at Hotel Indigo Jabal Akhdar Resort & Spa, and I can't recommend it highly enough! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality that made me feel right at home. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable, always with a friendly smile and a willingness to assist. What I loved most was the authentic Omani ambiance throughout the hotel. The decor, music, and even the culinary offerings beautifully showcased the rich culture of Oman. It was a delightful way to immerse myself in the local traditions while enjoying modern comforts. Overall, my experience at the hotel was fantastic, and I can't wait to return. If you’re looking for a place that combines great hospitality, cleanliness, and outstanding service, this is the hotel for you!

The price compared to the neighbouring Anantara Hotel, staff are very friendly and eager to please, even upgraded us on arrival, breakfast options are great and of course the views are stunning.

Because the spa has an extra cost, it's strangely deserted, shame they don't let all guests access it. There's also a bit of lack of things to do in the hotel, whilst the staff are happy to help advise on the area, can't help but think they should have someone dedicated to advising on places to go and activities to do (even sell activities), a games room would also probably help, instead of an empty gym no one was using🤷🏽‍♂️
