A beautiful hotel with well cared for lush attractive gardens which is very unusual in Oman. Peaceful, elegant decor, relaxing, lovely pool, lovely staff and an excellent BBQ style buffet dinner by the pool. Breakfasts catered for all tastes too. Comfortable spacious rooms. Good parking.

The hotel is in an isolated spot well outside Nizwa so any visitors would need transport or to be part of a tour. It seemed that many European group tours use this hotel which might be off putting for some seeking an authentic Oman experience. We liked the location as it was convenient for visiting other sites and was well away from the busy centre of Nizwa.

Big bed and direct access to the pool

I asked for a late check out and I was told the hotel was fully booked and they could not extend it. Honestly the hotel was half empty with very few people around.. just say you can’t without using excuses. There is a table hockey next to the rooms and you can hear the puck banging and people exulting at every goal.. I suggest moving the table far away from the rooms. Please also improve the ventilation hood in the kitchen as there smell of cooked food was really strong during breakfast. All the rest was good

The staff were absolutely amazing. Elegant place. Neat and very well maintained. The staff was great and went beyond to ensure ease & comfort, Ms. Asiya, Ms. Lucy, Mr. Suhail from the reception & Ms. Decian from the restaurant, Mr. Kamal from guest service needs a special mention. The room was clean. The location is convenient. Highly recommended a stay during trips to Nizwa & Jabal Akhdar. Will be coming back. Thank you so much. Nicha & Dhee.

Elegant, beautifully designed hotel with a 25 metre pool set in attractive gardens. The rooms were spacious and well equipped - we had a sofa as well as an armchair. The food was delicious, especially when they had the evening bbq by the pool. The hotel made a great base for exploring the area. It is easy to find and park in. It’s a completely straightforward 20 minute drive into the large car park by the souk in Nizwa. It’s also well worth making the 7 minute drive into Birkat Al Mouz, a destination not to be missed. Strongly recommended.

We were very happy with all aspects of the hotel.

Fabulous hotel, wow lobby area, cultural design, very nice swimming pool area, and a very relaxing architecture. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Room airconditioning in the hot summer was excellent. the room was very clean and comfortable. Food is excellent, the salad is fresh and tasty, grilled fish and meat was top. I recommned this place as a stopover for travellers across Oman.

The staff at the restaurant were new and they need better training.

Nice place, friendly staff, hotel was not busy and quiet so it was a good chance to relax. It is quite far from everywhere but should be fine of you have a car. The pool was very clean and kids friendly. breakfast good with many varities. They had bbq dinner for the 2 nights we did around the pool at 12 OMR/person. Food was very good and the atmosphere was perfect.

Room is a little old. This was not an issue, as the atmosphere and the mountain at the back of the hotel was making a good harmony.

The hotel was very nice, very well located just outside Nizwa. The swimming pool is fabulous and welcome after a day in the heat. The room was clean, spacious and well appointed. We had dinner there, it was bbq night and it was one of the best meal we've had in Oman. The concierge was very helpful and managed to organised a guide for us to take us around at the last minute.

The bed was extremely hard. It felt like sleeping on the floor. The breakfast could be a bit better.

Actually a great hotel ! I do not understand why this has only 7,9 score. It is very spacious, wonderful Oman interior and great food. Nice rooms connecting to the great pool and very quiet. Yes, it is a bit remote from Nizwa, but I suppose people have rental cars, which makes it super as a basis for the surrounding visits of towns and sightseeings. Really, this is worth a 10 in my opinion. So do not hesitate and book this hotel. Much better than all what is to offer in Nizwa itself ! You won't regret it.

absolutely nothing ! we ended up staying 3 nights because we loved it. (we were on the end of our trip, so the serenity was very welcome)

A really nice hotel east of Nizwa. Nice rooms, good WiFi, nice pool, excellent buffet in the evenings by the pool, excellent breakfast in the restaurant. Nice little shop selling some local crafts. Staff very attentive. The hotel is well positioned for a trip up to Al Jabal Al Akhdar (4x4 essential).

The hotel is located slightly away from the centre and each room has different but good views. The stay was overall comfortable and good. The food is good as well.

Certain aspects of the property need to be upgraded/renovated. The furniture in rooms and lift in the building is old. While the property provides games for entertainment, they are old, not well maintained, and need to be upgraded.
