The security staff is REALLY MEAN make every attractive woman who is alone feel as if she were a sex worker, they don't care about security, they care more about managing their double standards and insulting their guests women and girl friends making us feel really uncomfortable

Location and the views are the best in the city. Just short Uber ride to the old city. I think the best hotel to stay for a short Panama visit.

Very nice hotel. Clean, extremely friendly and helpful staff. Room was very clean and nice. We had breakfast daily at the Masi Restaurant on site and the food and service was excellent.

Be mindful that the 2 for 1 drink specials at the Azul bar int he evenings is only for a very limited selection of items. We were not told this and at the end of the night we had pay over $80 for four glasses of wine.

The location was central to city for tours, Old Town , restaurants etc while maintaining a more quiet atmosphere. The actual hotel was great with 2 beautiful infinity pool areas overlooking the Pacific Ocean . The pool chairs and cabana areas were very comfortable and clean. There wasn’t a time when we couldn’t get chairs. The pool staff was helpful and friendly. We had 3 lunches pool side , being served delicious hot sandwich wraps with hot fresh fries and very reasonable pricing. The Marriott affords lovely outdoor gathering areas to enjoy the beautiful evenings. The room was spacious with a king bed… very comfortable with crisp linens. robes and slippers provided Some rooms have a tub also. it is a bit unusual but the bathroom and shower are free standing glass enclosed spaces without being a separate room. This configuration still offered privacy. The room was clean and a turn down service was available each night . The large balcony was a real decision maker for us. The ocean views and breeze were wonderful. our booking included the breakfast buffet. The food selection and service was excellent. We decided to eat our evening meal 4 times because the service, quality of the food and the outdoor area was so peaceful and comfortable. I specifically must say a special thank you to the service team of Yariela, Nata, Fernando , Evencio and Clemencio. They and their peers made our dining experience so special that our consideration to return to the JW Marriott is because of these friendly, helpful hardworking people …keep in mind the Ocean Casino is directly next door for extra fun and gambling. The common area carpet and room furniture could have a refresh but the food , staff, location , service , balconies and outdoor pool and spa services make this a Best Choice hotel

The view from my room was spectacular. The staff, room service and the food (my favourite was the avocado toast) was the best. Marriot at Panama is my favourite 🙌🏼 I have put the pictures of the view from my balcony to give a glimpse of how gorgeous it was in its different hues💕 loved it

Outside of the rooms smelling a bit “humid”, everything else was amazing. The views from the room were great, the pools were beautiful. The breakfast was amazing. The rest of the food was mediocre. Don’t bother with a rental car here. Uber is not expensive and the hotel is very conveniently located. You are charged for EVERYTHING here. The mini bar drinks range from $5 and up. Room service also has their own fees outside of what you order.

Just the humidity/smell of the room. Pipe the AC down and it will help a lot.

Great rooms. The bathtubs in the rooms are on point. Great view from the top floors. Restaurants on scene have great food. The breakfast buffet is one of the best.

Prices have gotten a little steep. And it shows in there occupancy. Doubt they are even close to 50%. The pool service is a little lack, but kind of typical for Panama.

Price too high for the room and location not as good as other hotel more central. The minibar prices were far too high. They could be way more affordable considering the price of almost 300/night. They could do better to lower prices or add complimentary water (even small waters). Token of appreciation for staying there.
