Very touched by the warm reception and hospitality provided by Denis and his family. A perfect clean homestay near the airport for a transit. A basic room with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was to order and sumptuous. When requested, Denis and his wife provided us with excellent home made Peruvian cuisine for lunch and dinner (of course at an extra cost)! Pick up and drop-off services are also provided at a very nominal cost. Was really amazed at the hard work being put in by Denis. Would definitely recommend and stay again whenever in transit at Lima.

Very clean comfortable room. Close to the airport (although can still take a while due Lima traffic). Great for an overnight stay between flights. Denis provides an airport shuttle which is handy. Breakfast was delicious (omelette, bread, fruit, fruit juice and tea/coffee delivered to the room. It's a family home with 4 rooms for travellers. Not the Ritz, but a really pleasant place to stay. Very good value. I would certainly stay here again.

Location is great for airport, but a 30 minute taxi ride to Lima Main Square. You cannot be close to both. We prioritised the airport.

The location is great , 10 min car ride to and from the international airport in Lima . The area is quite and Chakana Family Home Lima Airport was very good for my short stay . The room had plenty of fresh air thru the little window . The room was clean , cozy , bed comfortable, and with warm blanket :) , the bathroom was nice , clean with hot water and good pressure :) Breakfast was very nice and tasty. The owners was very nice and helpful with any questions, for first time traveler :) . I really appreciated the help with my suitcase storage when I had to go to other town for two days as well with little credit from the owner for the taxi to the nearest shopping mall . Very nice owners and their house. Thank you very much for making my first days in Peru pleasant and welcoming.

As always, an excellent stay. The place is very, very clean and well organized and very appropriate for a stay between flights. There are no tourist attractions nearby, as it is a typical flight layover hostel, but Inka Market is within walking distance. Denis, the owner, is a former tour guide, knows a lot about Peru and speaks very good English. Staying here is a nice opportunity to visit a Peruvian family. When the new terminal opens in December, the property will be even closer to the airport.

It is very close to the airport, so of course you can hear planes, but it is fun to hear them and at the same time track them on Flightradar24.

Good location near the airport, lots of restaurants and stores around. Clean room with a comfortable bed (I've got an upgrade to the double room) and nice hot shower. The room is inside a family home, the family is very kind with a super cute dog and cat. They offer airport pick up and drop off, which was perfect for me. I even could choose what to eat for breakfast and got it served to my room. Very good value for the money, definitely recommended!

It's perfect for one night, just keep in mind that it's not the place to be to explore Lima

Our hosts were fantastic! It was really nice to stay with a family on our first night arriving in Lima and have transportation as an available option through our host. The short distance from the airport made this an ideal location for a quick overnight stay after arriving in Lima and before flying to Cusco the next day. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was great! The dog and cat who visited us were a bonus :)

The location might not be ideal if you were staying in order to explore Lima, but it's great for getting to and from the airport. This in included in the description, but please also note that there was not hot water for showering.

I loved this place to stay. It is a private room in a families house. The Chakana family is very welcoming, friendly and kind. They also have a very cute kitten and friendly doggie! This is the exact type of place I love to stay. Instead of being in a hotel your staying with a family who directly benefits from tourism. Denis the owner was friendly and shared some great information. He is also a tour guide and has extensive knowledge about what to do and what to see. The space was clean, and comfortable. The shower was warm! (adding this because there are some older reviews complaining about this)

The location is close to the airport and is a great landing place for a day or two. To explore most of Lima is isn’t in the best location but it’s definitely worth a stay!

Denis was available via WhatsApp the minute I booked the room online. We arranged an airport pickup and dropoff easily! He was so friendly even though we only stayed for one quick night since we were catching a flight to Cusco in the early morning. He made us a great breakfast at a time that worked best for us (fruit, coffee, pastries, eggs) and made sure we were comfortable. We met his wife, two sons, little kitten, and dog. It was lovely to get a very brief tour of his home town on the very quick drive from the airport to his Callao home. The room was very clean with a king bed and our own bathroom. WiFi was fast and outlets easily accessible near the bed. We felt safe and like we had our own private space. Gracias por todo, Denis!

The water pressure was a little low in the shower but had great hot water the whole time!

The property was very clean and well kept. It was very close to the airport and Denis the owner is an exceptional host. The breakfast in the morning of fresh fruit, yogurt fried eggs and bread was perfect. The WiFi worked great! There is also a nice local market not far from the property. We also enjoyed watching the seniors play football at the field at the end of the street. We would definitely stay here again.

It would be nice to have a fan in each room. We asked and Denis got us one from somewhere in the property. It would also be great if the window had a screen to keep bugs out. These things did not make a big difference.

Denis the owner was very accommodating, he picked us up from the airport. The place is a family house and we had room with private bathroom. Close to the airport and other amenities. Denis went above and beyond during our stay, we could leave our big bags at the accommodation while we went away for couple of days and brought them to the airport to pick us up for our next leg of our journey. Would recommend to stay if you have connecting flight or wanna just get resting between flights.
