An Unexpected Gem! I recently stayed at Hangloose Hostel, and it completely exceeded my expectations! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the friendly staff who made me feel right at home. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, making it easy to converse with fellow travelers. The facilities were top-notch—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. I loved the cozy common areas where I could relax or meet new friends. One of the highlights of my stay was the diverse group of people I met. It felt like a little community, and I left with not just memories but also new friends from around the world. If you’re looking for a place that feels more like a home away from home, with cool people and amazing staff, look no further than Hangloose Hostel. I can’t wait to return! A special shout-out to Ana, who went above and beyond to help us with everything we needed—from recommendations to making sure our stay was comfortable. Her hospitality really made a difference and added a personal touch to our experience. Overall, Hang Loose Hostel is a gem, and we can’t wait to come back! The private rooms were cozy and clean, though we feel adding some complimentary amenities in the private bathrooms, like shower gel or shampoo, could be a great improvement.

Best reco for hostel so far!! Super nice staff, bery accommodating from housekeeping, reception, owner! The facility entirely is clean as well, very prompt all housekeeping staff in maintaining all parts of the facility clean. Really enjoyed my stay here, almost feels like home in iao! Maybe the beds, hmm a more soft bed maybe. And thicker blankets. Then the wifi, quite tricky sometimes it’s okay, sometimes it’s slow. But all good

The staff. The location. The open-air configuration. The lounges. Multiple bathrooms and showers. Very good location if you want to be near the party places. They have generator.

The smell if your bed is near the toilet. Slow water pressure in the shower. The internet used to be good but is a bit slow now.

The people at the reception are super nice! Especially the lady which I think is the owner. Everyone was super helpful. We booked a private room and it was big with a private shower and toilet. The hostel was also close to the street with a lot of good restaurants. The hostel is also very clean, didn’t see a cockroach during the entire stay!! (I hate cockroaches). Thank you:)

The private rooms don’t get any soup or toilet papers. But there are soup to use in the common room to clean your hands.

Super cheap and lovely staff. It is a great location and the staff are so warm and accommodating.

The showers get a little dirty, just from the influx of people. It can be quite noisy as the dorms are open plan, but if it is still fine to sleep

The WiFi during my staff is unstable. I guess this is not just in the hostel but what I have noticed the entire island.

What an amazing place! I absolutely loved the vibes! This is the best place to make friends, click and bond together! Location is so close to the beach and some of the best restaurants! I loved every second of my stay

The best location in my opinion. Used to be a party hostel but because of the noise complaints, it is chill now. The air con rooms are a must so be sure to double check the booking

Always sold out with bookings, similar to every hostel on this island, you need to extend the stay early
