Great location right by the Loboc River and nearby the center of Loboc, a small and peaceful village. I definitely recommend renting a scooter while staying here — it makes exploring the area much easier and more enjoyable. The room in the main building was much more spacious and comfortable, with far fewer bugs. Were beautifully decorated and featured private open-air bathroom, which added a unique charm to the stay. The food was great — I ended up repeating my favorite dish, the Spaghetti aglio e olio, because it was just that good! Drinks and breakfast were also delicious. It’s a lovely spot to relax and a great base to explore the Loboc River area. Watching the fireflies at night was one of the most magical moments of our trip. There are also plenty of alternative tour options available just down the street from the hotel, which is very convenient. Highly recommended this relaxing and green stay at Loboc River!

Loved our stay here, it's in a lovely local area of Bohol - for me I preferred it compared to Panglao but for some people they may feel isolated. The premise is beautiful, lovely pockets of greenery and beauty. Staff were great and friendly, super easy to organize tours/rent a bike and DIY something yourself. There was an eco responsible attitude about the tours and activities which I appreciated alot. Food was very good at the restaurant:)

Location may be a downside for some. Not super close to other restaurants so unless you have a bike you might be stuck eating here every night (food is good but a bit pricy).

Facilities were unique and provided a one of a kind experience and views. A very special place tucked away on the Loboc river! The staff were all warm and welcoming and provided a lovely personal touch to their services. The restaurant had a great menu showcasing food across the Philippines. You truly feel in touch with nature, especially on the riverside area where you can admire birds and bats at dusk! There were firefly river tours offered too.

We love nature but the walkways had too many leaves in the way - we know this is something small and funny but not ideal especially at night. The riverside area was also gorgeous and unique but it was a shame there was litter and garbage on the riverside ruining the special feeling. For the information for future guests, the place is generally not wheelchair-accessible given the small winding paths around the grounds and dense foliage, as well as the upstairs restaurant.

Great location right by the Loboc River and nearby thee center of Loboc, a small and nice village. I definitely recommend renting a scooter while staying here — it makes exploring the area much easier and more enjoyable. We stayed the first night in one of the cottages and then moved to a room in the main building. The cottage had a sweet surprise from the staff for our honeymoon — such a thoughtful gesture that we truly appreciated. The second night we changed to a room in the main building was much more spacious and comfortable, with far fewer bugs. Both options were beautifully decorated and featured private open-air bathrooms, which added a unique charm to the stay. The food was great — I ended up repeating my favorite dish, the Spaghetti aglio e olio, because it was just that good! Mozzarella sticks with spicy mango sauce were very yummy!! Drinks and breakfast were also delicious. It’s a lovely spot to relax and a great base to explore the Loboc River area. Watching the fireflies at night was one of the most magical moments of our trip. There are also plenty of tour options available just down the street from the hotel, which is very convenient.

We stayed the first night in one of the cottages and we felt the space was quite small, and the lighting attracted a lot of insects and i got bug bites, from ants and mosquitoes. For those who aren’t used to this kind of rustic setup, it’s good to be aware in advance.

The pictures do not do this place justice! It’s absolutely stunning and feels secluded and private. The staff were incredible helping us with anything we needed and they were able to book us transport, tours and had scooters for rent at 400php a day. The onsite restaurant was great. We had an amazing stay here.

The only slight downside is that it is quite far from everything, when looking online it looked like there was more in the area but most things took a 20 minute to an hour drive depending on what you wanted to do. Nonetheless- perfect if you want a peaceful getaway from the mass tourists on alona beach.

We loved the little details in our cottages, it's all very picturesque, just like the entire grounds. The staff were very friendly and helpful and so were the tour guides (we did the MBT and SUP tours-they were one of the highlights of our stay!). The restaurant, which is also quite popular with people not staying at the cottages, offers a variety of delicious food choices, possible the most vegetarian choices we saw on our whole trip. Because of the rain we were not really able to use the deck in front of the river, but we can imagine how nice it would be to hang out there. The staff arranged everything we needed, including taxi's, massages and last-minute tours.

The only thing I could possibly mention is that in one of the cottages there was no real overhang in the outside bathroom. As it was raining when we were there, this made a bit tricky to use the bathroom facilities and stay dry.

From the moment we arrived to the hotel we noticed it was way nicer than advertised online. The room felt more like a villa, an absolute dream. The views to the rice fields are spectacular. The best thing about this place is their staff. The guys at the restaurant were absolutely amazing. Special thanks to Gideon and GM, always going above and beyond to make you feel welcome.

Everything was perfect.

Everything was excellent service, the food, the rooms etc. very good value for money. It’s worth noting that it is about 45min / 1 hour from the airport via tuk tuk, but I arrived after midnight and had no issues at all. The hotel arranged it all for me. It’s located on the bigger island not Panglao - but in retrospect it’s all easy to get around. It’s a quieter area. The gardens are lovely and it’s worth doing a sup trip and the bicycle ride to see the local villages. The restaurant had a great menu - the best food I have come across in Bohol. Lots of vegan and veg options, but also good meat options. They also open from 6am and make a good coffee and some great smoothies. Also you can stay there and still do diving etc (just need to account for the drive time) - wish I had done that instead of staying in town for the remainder of my trip. Well done to all those helping run just a great little hotel!

Nothing.

I cannot even begin to express my upmost gratitudes to the service I received from the wonderful staff at this beautiful resort. On my third day I got very sick, to which the staff responded immediately - providing me with local medicine, a full body hot press, and the chef even made me a personalised medicine tea. One member of staff drove to the local pharmacy to get me painkillers. I could not recommend this place enough, from the delicious food (the best we had in the Philippines) to the fun activities that this place provided. The dogs at this accommodation are all adorable and friendly - it was very hard to say goodbye to them! The rooms were beautifully decorated and had everything you needed. I just want to say a massive thank you to the wonderful staff who truly made our stay - you are all exceptional people and I am so grateful for your hospitality. Thank you <3 This place is the perfect place to relax, with the lake only a few seconds away and lovely sun loungers that you can sunbathe on. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the Philippines!

Nothing it was perfect

Really nice accommodation with separate cottages. feeling like living in the jungle. We had second floor room with balcony and view over rice field. Room had everything you need, very nice partly opened bathroom. We enjoyed morning walk village tour with local guide, who lives in the village and so you get real insights to local life.

We did not like the restaurant too much - quite expensive, the food was kind of fusion, was missing more local flavours (local dishes were sold-out every time when we tried to order these).
