We are a party of 5 and all of us were very happy. The staff was outstanding, very friendly, and enthusiastic. The restaurant turned out very tasty food at each meal we had there. The view from the balcony of the restaurant was wonderful. The resort provided transport to a variety of attractions in the southern half of Bohol island. We did a day-trip that included the Chocolate Hills and another that included a boat trip on the Loboc River. This is the rainy season in the Philippines but we were lucky with the weather and had lots of sunshine. I didn't see one mosquito in the four days we were there. They provided Baygon tablets in the accommodation so I wasn't awakened during the night by the annoying buzzing that destroys my sleep. The resort is built into the side of a small mountain so people should realize that there are a lot of steps to be climbed up and down. They should also realize that, as a mountain resort, there is no beach on or near the property.

Everything we liked! The rooms were spacious and clean. Staff was super friendly (our daughter loved Melody). Breakfast and dinner were nice. Location was great too. Is actually closer to the chocolate hills and other touristy spots. We will 100% stay here again. Our 3 year old loved this hotel too. This place was one of our highlights of our trip.

Some people talked about the steps. We personally didn't mind but I know that some people in my family would have issues to get up and down the steps. Just something to be aware of.

Everything was perfect! We had a very, very nice stay. The room was super spacious and clean, giving us plenty of comfort. The infinity pools were sparkling clean and clearly well-maintained, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view. The receptionists were very professional, friendly, and attentive to every detail—we felt truly welcomed. The restaurant staff were also excellent, providing great service, and the food from the kitchen was incredibly delicious. We’re definitely coming back, and I’ll be ordering more food for sure!

Excellent service. Excellent view in the mountain, and a very nice pool. The food was great and the room clean. They arranged transport to different places/activities with a private driver. The spa/massage was also very nice. We celebrated Christmas at the resort and stayed for 5 nights. For Christmas there was 2 different Christmas menus and life music.

We booked the Deluxe Villa with 3 separate bedrooms, however the description on booking.com is wrong. The Deluxe villa only has one bedroom with a double bed and one living room with 2 double beds and tabel/chairs. As we were travelling with teenager (16 years og 18 years) is was importantly for us to have separate rooms, so it was a bit disappointing - however we couldn’t have stayed on a better place with the Excellent view and service. Overall we had an excellent stay 🤩

It was real rest time. Very private place and warm hearted staffs and boss. I’ve got transportation to the city safely and comfortely. They informed the English mass time, so we could attended the holy mass. The breakfirst option was simple and healthy. While we were swimming, the delicious pasta and icecream were serving near the pool. We did enjoy the meal and kind staff’s nice serving. During my stay, I have to go out for a tour at 7am. As I told my schedule, the staff kindly arranged eating time in my room. It was great! Thanks to Marquis, I fully enjoyed my first trip to Bohol.

It’s a wonderful place I visited with a great ambiance and beautiful scenery,surely this place will captivate your heart for the overlooking view since literally your on top of the mountain you can easily appreciate the nature more and how beautifully the landscape are, especially during sunrise and sunset the scenic view will truly mesmerize your vision felt like your in paradise.This place is truly a gem of Bohol,The modern villas combined with a native cottages truly blend in the aesthetic of the place,I also like that it’s not crowded so you will feel extra especial on the exclusivity of the place and amenities that you can try on.The staffs are really awesome you feel at home with the great services being provided, The food is a top notch with a delicious wide variety of choices; I thought the food was expensive surprisingly the price is really affordable given on its plating presentation was on point surely we’ll be coming back to try out more on their menu without breaking my bank.The picture and videos don’t give justice on how beautiful this place are so get ready to be mind blown,See you again Marqis Resort

Marqis Resort I could say is the best resort we've stayed so far with my Family here in Bohol. The food was great. All staff were very accommodating and friendly, reassuring that everything is just fine. The place is truly serene, from which your heart will definitely melt just staring from your balcony to the sea view. The villas are spacious and their beds were so cozy. The air is very refreshing. I was amazed too that they have sports amenities like billiards, table tennis and even a karaoke room.
