We came back to Roxas for our wedding and needed a place to stay, all other hotels were booked. Ocean Manor has been a great property. Its so close to everything we need, food, shopping, market, barber shop and it's less than 100 meters from the ocean. The location is very quiet at night since most guests are tired from exploring Palawan. We have really enjoyed our stay here in Roxas at Ocean Manor. I will book this again in the future.

The only thing that could make the place any better would be to have a kitchen so you don't have to eat outside each meal. However there's no provision for a kitchen in the room so, it's just wishful thinking at this point.

The hotel is set on a road behind the main through road so it's very quiet. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was local cuisine, rice with either corned beef or sausage and fried egg served with bananas and a glass of juice. Free tea and coffee is available from reception. I chose this location as it was pretty central in Palawan and allowed me to access Port Barton and numerous other locations fairly easily.

I arrived by motorbike and found the property a little difficult to find. I drove past the hotel several times before the owner got my attention.

- yum breakfast. - near everything. i gotta give it to roxas town. small town and nice street layout. well planned. you can walk to anywhere. just get a bit creepy at night because establishments close rearly. we went out at 8pm to get dinner and it already felt like midnight 😅

- the window that looks out to the front desk/common area. just a hit awkward but that’s fine, we only stayed one night. we just had to keep the lights off inside our room so people outside dont see our silhouettes 😂😂😂

Wifi was OUTSTANDING. The best wifi signal and speed I've seen in the Philippines, and it's not even close. And I've been around the country a lot. They use Starlink, so I guess that's why. Staff is really really nice. Helped me get into a boat that was taking a group of Italians to a tiny island, so I wasn't even charged for that.

Quick responses and good customer service. Stopped over for one night. Room was as described and everything was in order. Breakfast was lovely and so was the owner. Easy to find.

There were a lot of insects but that’s because the window was open and the owner gave us another room straight away.

the warmth of the family, the wonderful breakfast, comfortable bed and pillows, air con, free parking, big shower area.

due to the setup of the rooms, noise can be a problem, but nothing bad. water pressure is low (but hot!), which wasn’t a problem for me since some places you use buckets to take showers. I really enjoyed my stay.

Genuinely kind and hospitable hosts, that made you feel at home right away. The rooms are perfectly clean. Splendid breakfast, the best we had so far in the Philippines. Marco is super kind and showed us a very nice local bar near the beach that we would never have found ourselves. Also very very cheap for what you get.
