I'll start in general, the stay is comfortable and pleasant, 🛵 it is possible to rent a scooter through the hotel, not the cheapest but it saves the trip to the center so it is offset mainly if you stay for several days. 👥 The staff is friendly and helpful, answers every question and gives useful information about attractions and things to do on the island. There was an evening that was a bit noisy because of a fire show specially brought by the hotel, for a group that missed the show on the island. Because of the noise, they offered to compensate us with breakfast. The breakfast was very tasty and recommended. 🛀 The shower, the stream is good and the water is hot, a little small but overall good. 🛏️ The bed, the bed is very comfortable, the sheets are clean and pleasant. The smell in the room is a bit strong, you can disconnect the diffuser upon arrival and within a few hours the smell will improve.

The only thing I can’t think of is you can't open the curtains if you want privacy, so you can't enjoy the natural light that enters the room. Also the smell I mentioned but it’s fixable.

Azul de Panglao is located in the central the area, super close to the good restaurants and party scene, yet quiet and peaceful. If you are looking for a relaxing stay, this is the place. The room for 4 pax is spacious and tidy. The place is just a kilometer or so away from Alona by foot, but gives off a private vibe. It has a huge open and airy space, giving off a pleasant vibe with the airflow and the natural light coming in. The owner and the staff were both welcoming and very accommodating as hosts. They gave really good recommendations and made sure that our stay is as comfortable as possible. Thank you Ms. Marisol and team, you were amazing hosts. Thank you for taking care of us and making sure we had a wonderful stay. It was a service beyond compare. See you again!

I’m glad I stayed here as it really provided that peaceful vibe considering it’s not even far from where all the action is. The interiors will make you feel that you are in Bali but with a Filipino touch. I’ve learned that some of the furnishings were even from local trees that would have been otherwise thrown away when these trees were damaged by the storm. The ceiling reminds me of the old school banig. They even helped us organise the tours within the islands as I came to Bohol with no idea on what to do or where to go aside from Loboc and Chocolate Hills. Azul de Panglao is definitely a hidden gem in Bohol

We had a great stay here during our Bohol trip. They are very accommodating. They even bought the birthday cake for my mom and husband since we didn’t had the time to buy one. Rooms are clean and very spacious. Not the typical hotel vibes, you will feel at home here. The owner was very nice. The place is perfect for families. We will definitely recommend and will stay here if we will travel again in Bohol. Thank you Azul de Panglao Hotel thank you Mam Sol.

I appreciate that the hotel willingly adjusted (serving) our breakfast to accommodate our travel schedule.

I didn't like that the staff entered our room to clean without our consent or without us requesting the cleaning.

Everything about this place was lovely. The staff were cheerful, kind and helpful. They would bring various little samples of food to try, and kept offering me free coffee. I was in room 4 which is downstairs, so very convenient. The AC unit was new, so cooled the room nicely and was quite. There was a good sized smart flat screen tv. Plenty of hot water for showering, with good water pressure. The towels and bedding were new and the double bed was extremely comfortable. I didn't use the swimming pool, but it was there if you wanted to cool off.

The only thing I would suggest, is placing some form of reflective film on the glass sliding doors to the rooms downstairs. You need to keep the curtains closed to prevent people being able to see inside the rooms.

I loved staying here so much!!! The owner, Marisol, is such an amazing person. She organized activities and tours for me and the other guests while I was staying. There was a scooter available for me to rent during my stay at a good price. The room was very comfortable and the whole hotel was always kept clean and tidy. All of the staff were lovely and always happy to help with anything they could. Great location with Alona beach and plenty of good restaurants in easy walking distance. I would recommend this place to anyone staying in Bohol.

The only thing I didn't like was the fact that I couldn't stay longer.

Always lock the front door if it’s latenight and have someone stand by at the lobby. There is the upper floor ‘s public space which we can hang out longer. Very convinience when we want to go somewhere they can just call TukTuk and even negotiate price for us.

-The lock of the room is too difficult. -They need 10-15minutes (actual time took longer) to prepare the room after we check in.

I like the quiet, peaceful, away from busy city.

It's a little bit distance from the beach.
