I wanted a memorable holiday with my two daughters (19 and 10 years old) I feel like I couldn’t have picked a better place! Our first time in Portugal and the Algarve did not disappoint. The area is truly beautiful. But our highlight was the resort. We loved everything about our stay. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The pools were brilliant with many loungers around. The cherry on the cake was the staff. Polite, patient and always smiling even in high pressure times. A big shout out to Mario and his team; Natalia, Jose and to Thomas on towels. I’ll actually miss you guys :) Best breakfast I’ve ever had, the choices are endless! We tried the Asian restaurant and the sushi bar on the 5th floor which was lovely too. Thank you Sandeep and lovely Brazilian sushi chef for a special evening. We enjoyed the tschutschu train service to the nearby beach. My girls have already asked to come back to the same room next year!

Enjoyed a wonderful stay at the hotel: originally booked full board a superior sea-view room, upon arrival the front-desk team was swiftly moved to a better sea-view room, with the spacious accommodation boasted stunning vistas and a generous sun terrace. The resort’s dining options impressed with a varied breakfast buffet featuring fresh pastries and made-to-order eggs, succulent lunches and dinners offering both local specialties and international dishes, and multiple themed restaurants to choose from each lunch/evening. The bar and restaurant personnel were exceptionally attentive and welcoming throughout. Really enjoyed the multiple beautifully maintained circular pools and the convenient complimentary “chu-chu” train service whisking guests to the Beach, where sun loungers and attentive staff made every moment relaxing. With its top-class golf course, spa facilities, and easy access to Albufeira’s charming old town, this resort truly offers the best of the Algarve in one unforgettable getaway.

I must admit that I read the reviews and had certain expectations. Some negative comments were mentioned. I do not agree and could not find any reason to criticise. The service from all the staff is exceptional. Always attentive, friendly, always grateful, and respond every time we thank them. From reception to the bars to the cleaning staff, everyone was outstanding. The staff/entertainers at the kids' club are wonderfully dedicated. It's a great asset to the hotel. They treat the children with great care, affection, and dedication.And the food? Well, a buffet with variety and high quality! The food is truly another relevant and distinctive aspect.Regarding the facilities, the conditions and pools are a hallmark of the excellence of this place.I loved everything. Highly recommended for families with children.

We recently stayed at Marriott Salgados Palace Algarve and were impressed by every moment of our visit. The hotel not only meets the highest expectations – it exceeds them. Our first impression was exceptional: we were warmly welcomed with champagne and fresh fruit – a truly thoughtful and gracious gesture. Throughout our stay, the staff were incredibly professional, attentive, and genuinely caring. We didn’t just feel like guests – we felt truly valued. The rooms have been completely renovated, featuring a modern design and extremely comfortable beds that made our rest truly enjoyable. Every detail was carefully considered. Breakfast was also a highlight – not only generous, but also freshly prepared to order. It was the perfect way to start each morning: delicious, relaxed, and tailored to our preferences. Our stay left us with warm memories. If you’re looking for top-level service, comfort, and a real holiday atmosphere – this hotel is absolutely worth your attention. We hope to return again soon.

The only thing missing during breakfast was champagne.

- The room was impeccably clean and was serviced daily. - The food was delicious, offering a wide variety of options to suit all tastes. - The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. - A complimentary shuttle to the beach runs every 30 minutes. - The main room was very comfortable and well-maintained.

- The noise from the air conditioning units could be heard constantly when the balcony door was open, which became quite annoying. - The sofa bed made creaking noises whenever someone moved during the night, and it was particularly uncomfortable, especially in the middle.

The breakfast was OK, I thought it could have been more options and perhaps more different fruits, melons and then pancakes and stuff like that. Otherwise we enjoyed and had breakfast each morning.

The restaurant was expensive (at the hotel, floor version not the rooftop / Asian one). A pizza was like 2.4€ and did not exceed our expectations at all, instead very basic and I believe they should have more dinner options for a “fair” price due to what it is. Eg the pizza.

Excellent food. Had an all- inclusive package - so you could eat what you liked , when you liked. Excellent facilities all round . Great place for family and small children. Within 800m from the beach - and there is a ' train ' service provided free of charge from the hotel to Galé beach .

Fairly typical ,large , tourist hotel with a lot of activities for children. ' Musak' around the pool , kids clubs etc;.

I was in this hotel with my family (2+2)—children aged 10 and 12. The hotel is big, with nice service, and the food was delicious, especially breakfast and dinner. There was plenty to choose from. The room was clean, and the service was good. The pools were very nice, there was no problem with the sunbeds. The beach was a bit far from the hotel, but there was a 'train' every half hour that could take you there.

A small minus was that the hotel's colors were dark and the second bed was too small for our children.

Hotel itself is ideal for a young family holiday. All inclusive food and drink offer is good value and quality. Hotel itself is decent, not perfect, but decent. I would say the hotel is more of a 4+* rating as opposed to a true 5*. The staff at the kids club are superb.

Personally, I found the mattresses way too soft and not that comfortable. The staff, while professional, didn't seem that friendly / happy. While the hotel is perfect for young families, I wouldn't recommend this as a place to stay for couples.

Room and pool, staff

The all inclusive food wasn't the greatest. Unfortunately 2 days before our departure, my daughter ( 3years old) and I fell ill. We were continuously vomiting, and it was quite excessive. The guest relations were very helpful and caring, they regularly checked up on us, and even requested the chef's to prepare a soup to cater for our stomach, I must say my daughter felt better, however I was still really ill until my return to London.
