Very nice studio with fully equipped kitchen, everything was clean and the beds were comfortable, you can even use the washing machine from the laundry room, the host was helpful and everything was ok. From this location we easily got to Portimao, Lagos and all the important beaches from Algarve in about 15-45 min by car.

The location is quite far from a beach/main road but this didn't matter because we rented a car and the area is much calm and without noise.

We loved the location, the building and the accommodation - it was all perfect for our needs. The owners Andrea and Alberto also deserve special praise for the concern and kindness they showed to us when my wife required urgent hospital treatment during our stay. We shall definitely return.

There was nothing we didn't like. Some might feel it is too far from the beaches and Albufeira itself, though renting a car resolves that problem and is more than compensated for by the peace and quiet of the location.

The location is beautiful, nice villa, on top of the hill, not far from the sea and beaches. We were really lucky we stayed at the 2 bedroom appartment on the first floor, with a big balcony having sea-view! The appartment was well maintained and was quite spacious. There was an airco wich we used for heating in the night because we visited off season. There even was a dishwasher in the kitchen. Laundry machines are shared. There is an electric gate with remote control and nice parking on the property. The surroundings are very peaceful and quiet. We had a wonderful stay!

There could be a few extra kitchen-utensils like scissor and fruit-knives. Some hooks to hang your jacket or sweater in the hallway would be nice.

water in a pool is not heated that is why at the time of our visit it was not comfortable to swim there much. The house has two BBQ places with all all needed - just need to bring coal and what you want to cook. The kitchen also has eveything you need. The balcony (we lived on the second floor) has a nice view on the pool and neighborhood. There were very few other quests thereby comfortable. clalm and cozy stayment is quaranteed.

the accomodation should have such spare items like toilete paper, tablets for dish washer.

Check in was smooth(the host lets us avail of the apartment early which was brilliant).The apartment was spacious and had everything my family of 4 needed for our stay.The site was very secure.The pool and gardens were fantastic and very clean. We had a wonderful time and will definitely return in the future Thanks so much

Stunning building with 7 apartments. Super comfortable rooms/bed . Good facilities for self catering. A short drive to albufeira etc but a car really essential. Golf courses and nature reserve close by. Great garden , large pool, changing/toilet facilities, games area, barbeque. For nature lovers, Hoopoes and Azure Magpies in the garden.

Instructions for departure day re keys and electric gate would be helpful.

The appartment was large and nicely situated with a small terrace near the swimming pool. The swimming pool is really nice and the garden is very beautiful!

There is a fully equipped kitchen with pans, plates etc, but lacks basic ingredients like salt, pepper, oil, etc. It would be nice for guests who visit the Algarve by plane not to have to bother about such basic ingredients... Further the appartment interior is dated and could use repairs/renovation.

We had a very good stay in the Monte dos Avos apartments. Everything was very clean, good service, sheets changed once a week. Bath linen provided. Very well located outside the city, in a very quiet area. Very reasonable prices. 100% recommended.

Quiet, clean and comfortable beds.

The fact there is no staff present, just a contact phone. makes it difficult for new arrivals to understand how everything works. However, we managed to sort out the misunderstanding at arrival by calling the contact number. Two young women has taken possession of the keys that had my name and occupied the room,. When we arrived after a long driving journey, it was another guest we could not enter the parking lot and it was a guest whom opened the entrance gate.

For us Excellent location not for everyone as you ideally need a car but within walking distance you have a few options with a takeaway, a snack bar and a fabulous restaurant Casa Do Avo .
