We love this hotel. It’s a perfect location and you just know exactly what you’re going to get. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming. It’s perfectly clean, smells fantastic and rooms are cleaned every day. Pool area is always lovely. The hotel left us a surprise bottle Of bubbly and cake for my husbands 50th which was a complete surprise! Lovely touch!

Hotel guests above us were very loud on consecutive nights, which did prevent us having a restful sleep. We have been coming here for many years and love it, but this really did impact our stay this year. Minor detail - it would be good for the coffee/tea/milk sachets to be topped up, the same way the toiletries do.

Hotel was calm and peaceful. Breakfast was excellent and loved the late options- up to 10.30. Very easy to get a bed by the pool even at this late hour. We had a lovely view from our room facing pool and sea. Location was quite quiet - 10/15 mins to local restaurants and beach - we walked most times but there is a shuttle bus provided by the hotel. Other restaurants are a drive away - we used uber.

It was very quiet so if you’re looking for lively then you may be disappointed as no entertainment. The bar in the evening was dead. Flies were especially annoying not sure why so many - not the hotels fault of course.

Upon arrival Jose [doorman] was quick to walk to our car, collect our bags & take us into reception - an impressive start. At reception the process was welcoming, prompt & professional. Our room was spacious, airy & with a decent side view of the sea. The en-suite was spacious, pristine clean, with a great power shower. The room was cleaned daily with an evening turnover if needed. Breakfast was buffer style & comprehensive in terms of options. The real star was Marta in the restaurant. Marta was "personal professionalism personified" - very welcoming, engaging, courteous & attentive - she should be commended. The pool & surrounding area was lovely - plenty of sun loungers with the option of shade or sun. A very enjoyable stay prompting us to return.

lovely location in Vale do Lobo close to Julia Beach, the hotel is lovely with a great pool and gardens area. The staff are lovely and very helpful.

Our bedroom was around the main atrium and although the view is lovely, it was noisy, when groups of guests were checking in and out.

Outstanding staff ! Spacious rooms. Excellent air conditioning. Good room service. The on demand transport to the beach was extremely useful. The pool setting was pretty and the overall ambience was calm and restful although this was not high season.

The garden area for the kids shown in the pictures was closed. The only small shop at reasonable walking distance was closed. The restaurants nearby were touristic and none served genuine portuguese food. All the food was quite expensive and ordinary in quality although the restaurant in the hotel was not bad. The real disappointment was the hotel allowing people to leave their towels to reserve their sunloungers and even worse playing loud music. If the hotel wants to be taken seriously as a 5 star it needs to think about the well being of all the guests. There is a reason why people choose Vale do Lobo rather than Benidorm !!!

welcoming reception and the staff were very helpful to everyone. Breakfast offered a wide choice to suit everyone particularly liked the home made bread. The pool area is a great area for adults and children alike, the only criticism I would have is the number of steps from the pool side to the pool bar, foe someone with a disability this was quite a challenge. That said food offered at the pool bar was very good and great value for money. The bedroom was spacious, maintained very well and staff attentive prviding chocolates in the evening as a 'treat'

Step from the poolside to the Pool Bar can be a bit challenging for anyone with a disability Next time I will ask for a room with a walk in shower, if available. the bathroom is a great size etc but the shower over the bath can be a challenge for anyone with a disability i.e. restricitve walking

Great location. Rooms were a little updated but exceptionally clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Lovely touch to leave a chocolate when beds were turned down. Good to hear the piano player in the lobby bar. The shuttle bus to and from the beach was amazing

Rooms were a bit dated. I think the room fridges should be restocked with water, apparently this is done if you book direct with them. It was exceptionally hot when we were there, and buying water in the hotel was a ridiculous price Don’t really understand why you have to pay for the sunbeds on the beach, when it’s the hotels area

We had a lovely stay at Ria Park. Amazing location, only 10 minute walk from the beach and short drive from the airport. Great facilities including the beautiful pool and tranquil gardens adorned with palm trees. Extensive breakfast options and delicious, high-quality food in the restaurant which was able to cater to vegetarians and our 1 year old baby. Restaurant located in relaxing setting overlooking the pool - service was excellent and staff remembered the high-chair and dietary preferences every evening we dined there. Special mention in particular to Wesley who looked after us very well. We would highly recommend.

Since the check-in we loved every minute of our stay. The staff was extremely professional and kind. The free shuttle available on request is a wonderful add which we didn't even need since the hotel is less than 10 minutes away from the most amazing beach. One day we walked to Vilamoura, it took us about 1 hour and it was amazing, so if you don't mind long walks along the beach we'd highly recommend it. The pool is fantastic, the room was sparkling clean, the whole building looks incredible, the neighborhood is super quiet, there's a free shuttle and you can request beach towels at any time. We were already very very happy with our stay but what really exceeded our expectations was the surprise birthday cake and sparkling wine we found when we got back to our room on the day of my birthday. We didn't even mention this in our booking or during the check-in so the fact that they noticed and arranged all that created a wonderful memory. Thank you so much to the staff of the Ria Park for one of the best holidays we ever had.

Honestly nothing. If I really had to pick something since the breakfast was absolutely fantastic I guess the restaurant could have been better. The food was still really nice, just not incredible. Honestly not a problem since we wanted to explore the area anyway and the food in Portugal is amazing!

Once I had drunk my complementary water in my room ( one litre plus three small bottles in fridge ) it was not replenished and there were no water dispensers in hotel. The hotel is a 15 -20 minute walk away from a shop. I tend to drink 2litres a day. Gym opens at 9am but would have preferred to get in at 8am, then eat breakfast. Pool the same.
