From 2 weary Travellers stranded. It turned out a great little find. The Hotel although a little old and worn was spotless, i mean spotless, i have stayed in 4 star hotels not as clean as this place, The breakfast was great and catered for most tastes, fresh breads, meats, fruit, yoghut, as well as hot foods, The rooms have aircon, TV & Fridge. Although they dont have evening Meal the staff informed us of a great restaurant about 3min walk away, communal areas and bar were clean and comfy, shows you should never judge a book by its cover. Great value for money

The hotel was not in the best area, at first glance wasnt great, a little more updating of the rooms.

Staff at both reception and those attending were most polite and helpful. The breakfast itself was superb, with a great choice and as much as one could possibly eat . The location was ideal with more than enough shops and restaurants nearby . The extra bonus about staying here was that both the train and bus stations were within walking distance. This allowed for easy access to Lisbon ,a beautiful city ,well worth a visit . Hope you enjoy your trip as much as I did . The Portuguese people are so warm and friendly which you will find out when you visit . James

We got stranded after the Big Blackout. So flights cancelled we had to rebook but could only get Thursday 1st may. So we had to stay 3 nights. It was all so frightening to arrive to a dark hotel and carry luggage up stairs. But the nice gentleman gave us the 1st floor and complimentary water. It had everything you need in your room and clean. Very nice breakfast. Very quaint hotel with lovely staff. About 12mns walk to the marina shops and bars.

Old fashioned shower and just a bit outdated.

The staff were very helpful. We arrived late after midnight. Fortunately, the bar stayed open until 1 am. And the staff served drinks and helped organise an Uber delivery. We have stayed in the Alnacir before and were pleased to observe the same excellent standard.

Nothing springs to mind except one small thing: The only negative was the sink in the bedroom had been broken by a previous guest but the staff had not had a chance to repair it yet.

Excellent location, close to train and bus stations, shops and restaurants. Well equipped room with fridge and tv, kettle supplied on request. Friendly staff, good breakfast and late night bar. Reception open 24 hours.

Air con didn't work, we didn't mention it as we only stayed a couple of nights so it wasn't an issue.

Location & parking great. Easy walk to bars & restaurants in centre. Basic room with hot shower, comfortable bed, good air conditioning. Good breakfast, friendly staff.

Window in bedroom did not open so felt a bit claustrophobic. Size of lift/elevator tiny- very claustrophobic so used stairs only. One night was good but no more really. Great value for money so close to Faro Airport.

247 reception was amazing , snacks and fresh drinks always available. Soap and shampoo in rooms provided and smelt amazing The beds were super comfy and the rooms were spotless Decent view of faro out of the window . The sunset in the morning was great . Perfect cool air conditioning in the rooms . If I was ever staying in faro again I would 100% use Alnacir.

Such an amazing location, just a few minutes to get to old town and close to shopping centre too and beach. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Solo female traveller and always felt safe around the area and coming back late. Bedroom was old but spotless, so good for the price!

It was during the power outage so the staff did the best they could without any lighting. We were helped by torchlight to our room up 4 floors and the staff member did carry a heavy suitcase for us.

Perhaps the hotel could do with a generator for such.occasions or even provided battery tealights

Room is simple, but clean - there was no problems with hot water, it was quiet. We really loved breakfast - very good. Warm buns, fresh fruit salad, juice.
