Poor communication regarding entrance to the property. I had to chase on the day of arrival for details. Also poor communication and service around extra service I paid for during my stay. I requested clean towels and bedding on Tuesday 8 Oct. Payment was taken on the day but no-one contacted us about this service. I had to phone several times on the day to chase this up. I think it had been completely overlooked, finally someone turned up around 5pm. Our guests had already arrived but had to wait for the service to be completed. Also, the staff member did not take the dirty towels with her, they were left in the bath.

The view was outstanding very peaceful, the staff were also very helpful and answered any queries or messages very quickly.

If you arrive late at night pick anything you need up from airport shop, there are no open shops or restaurants round about to get items from.

My friends and I decided to holiday in Faro ,Portugal from the 15th to 18th of August 2022 and we thought that Villa Lidia was a great option for its location and size seeing that we were six people. I must say that the house is lovely and its location near perfect,a few steps from the beach and with its back garden sitting literally on a ria( estuary)

However that's where it ends... firstly we were told that the check in would be at 16:00 but when we arrived the house had not been cleaned and everything was a mess, we had to wait for nearly two hours before we could enter the house only to discover that they had only prepared sleeping arrangements for 5 and not 6 people so again we had to phone in to obtain the whereabouts of the missing sheets and towels. In addition on our arrival we had received a message stating that we had olive oil ,salt and coffee at our disposal..I imagine they meant it to be souvenirs...as a tiny tiny bottle of oil and 2 coffee capsules cannot have any use seriously...they shouldn't even mention it!! Oh and we also ran out of toilet paper...one roll for six people for 4 days... again seriously!!! Finally seeing we had to wait 2 hours to enter the house the first day we asked if there was a possibility we could vacate the house a 13:00 instead of the stepulated 11:00 , however this petition was refused! If you cannot live up to the end of your bargain you should at least try to compensate in some way your client, who at the end of the day has paid you good money!!!

The area was nice

We had some electricity issues leaving us with no electricity at all. We had to be put into another accomodation which was really discomforting.
