Enjoyed the breakfast buffet, freshness, and the live piano music was great. Room was excellent with a view of the boats and sea. Staff were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the restaurant downstairs; amazing staff, love the barbecue ribs menu. Location was great, accessibility to bus, taxi, and train. Easy access to places of interest and other locations like Olhao. Appreciate the flower given to us on our wedding anniversary during breakfast, and surprisingly find a gift wine in the room at night. I'll definitely be back when I am in Faro.

We were disappointed to find that the spa and wellness facilities, as well as the rooftop, were unavailable due to ongoing work. Also, we were surprised to learn that the dinner buffet is only offered on Friday and Saturday nights. Unfortunately, we missed it as we had to leave on Friday.

Hotel has the best location in Faro! Staff all speak amazing English and are super friendly and helpful.i have found this in general of the Portuguese people. Hotel breakfast buffet fantastic complete with soothing live music, pool large and has great bar. All rooms seem to have a balcony we overlooked the Marina which was amazing.

Minor things but easy to improve on. No lights on the balcony so can’t read outside in the evening. Shower screen is not wide enough so even if you shower carefully water still gets all over the floor. Nowhere to hang your towels to dry after use.

Piano playing at breakfast was a lovely personal touch for the mornings. Great views for plane spotting at the top of the hotel. Breakfast had a nice variety of options with fruits and pastries being my favourite. Location is brilliant by the marina for boat rides. Hotel is near cafes, shops, bus station and train station. Local area is perfect for a peaceful stroll. Local Park called Alameda is small but had a small water fountain and peacocks. Forum Algarve is a shopping mall that is about a 25 min walk or a 5 min taxi ride away.

Shower was okay but not as powerful as a normal one.

The check-in was quick, and the staff seemed friendly. The location is brilliant, it seems to be central to everything. The live music in the breakfast room is a nice touch, as is the wide variety of food. The bedroom is good value, it's not extravagant but the bed is very comfortable and the room had most things we needed - as I said, good value.

The air conditioning in our room seemed really hard to control, which led to me waking a couple of times to try to adjust the temperature (however, this would not put me off staying at the hotel).

My room had an excellent view of the harbour and I found the walk-in shower easy to use. The hotel is well located next to the old part of Faro and to other central areas of the city, with plenty of pleasant bars and restaurants nearby.. The train station is close by as is the bus station, which provides a convenient and cheap bus connection to the airport. The roof-top bar and restaurant are very welcoming spaces to be in, with excellent views over the harbour. There is plenty of choice available at breakfast, though see comment below.

As stated above, there is plenty of choice at breakfast. But I felt that some details needed more attention: for example empty coffee jugs not being replenished quickly enough and some parts of the cooked breakfast - eg the hash browns had been allowed to go cold. As stated above, l liked the roof-top bar and the staff were very pleasant and helpful, though I think a wider selection of port and Portuguese wines, particularly those from the local area, could be provided. These are, after all, very much part of your heritage!if I

The location was excellent, even better than it appeared on the map. The hotel was close to the ‘old city’ but not in the middle of the bars and restaurants of the tourist area. The views from our balcony were lovely across the marina, especially at sundown. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were amazing with a huge choice of dishes and omelettes cooked to order if you wanted. We enjoyed the piano player at breakfast; a civilised touch. He played very well and not too loud to make conversation difficult but loud enough to enjoy the selection of music. The room was comfortable and always very well cleaned every day by a friendly chambermaid. Good hot shower.

The reception was rather shambolic. We arrived early but there was nowhere very comfortable to sit and wait. This seemed to be a problem every morning with arriving guests. There was a problem with loud drilling on our floor but the staff were concerned and did offer us another room and seemed genuinely apologetic. The breakfast staff were efficient in clearing used plates etc. but could have been a little less noisy ! However, on the whole, the staff were friendly and well meaning.

Loved this hotel ..staff were excellent very friendly and helpful.The location was amazing right in the Marina book a marina view room if possible, the room size was perfect with a large balcony with table and chairs.Bed was comfortable with good pillows and good bed linen very good shower.The breakfast was amazing a huge choice something for everyone and more a lovely touch was a fresh flower presented to the women at breakfast.The pool area was very good only quibble here was the ladders into pool were a bit old and wobbly otherwise a fantastic hotel and would definitely stay again if ever in Faro.Thank you also for the bottle of wine a lovely gesture and much appreciated.

Great location. We had a room over looking the marina. Restaurant across the marina had constant live music, which was lovely. Yet when we shut doors to the balcony, it was completely silent. Pianist at breakfast was great. Breakfast was varied and plenty and included sparkling wine. Pool area looked good and got the sun during the day.

We asked for an iron 4 times, just to be fobbed off and one man rudely suggested we could use the laundry service, which takes 24 hours and we needed it to iron clotges to go out that night. Have a feeling they gave us a bottle of wine as apology on the last day but couldn't take it home (hand luggage) so gave it to the lovely pianist.

Room quite small, but sufficient. Comfortable bed, good shower. Breakfast very good; wide variety of fruits and both continental and hot items. Good local breads. Location - fine. Just as we expected. Very central, easy foot access to all of Faro, ferries, busses and trains. We used the small fridge to store our water, milk, wines and so on.

I was unable to receive the wifi signal. Logged in easily, but no internet received. It would be good to make the whole hotel, including balconies and pool area, non-smoking. There were times we had to close our balcony door and use the air-con to create air movement, albeit recirculated air. Wasteful. Occasionally a lot of outdoor noise at night - unavoidable for such a central location. However, closing the balcony door cut off the fresh air and the room (small) became stuffy. We had to use the air-con on full to compensate.
