Very nice guesthouse located in the very center of Faro. Very friendly and hepful staff.

Although the house has been very nicely refurbished with taste, the walls do not have a good sound insulation, meaning that you hear the slightest noise from the neigbours around and above. Taking into account that the house is used as a base to reach the airport, guests can leave very early in the morning and wake you up easily. Parking nearby in the day is not free before 7pm. Free parking is then at minimum 1 km and not easy to find.

We arrived late but in time for the final.check in time. The lady at the reception gave us the information about the kitchen and gave us our key. Room was comfortable and clean. It was en-suite. No tea making facilities in the room or fridge, as this was in the communal kitchen. Which was strange to us but was OK. We only stayed 1 night. Location was really good to the centre, which had some bars and restaurants, and was close to the harbour.

There was nothing we didn't like as we stayed for a stop over. We couldn't stay for more than 2 nights, it's not that kind of place, but for short stays it's perfect.

Excellent location, excellent facilities, the kitchen has everything you need, including a selection of biscuits if you get snackish! Everyone using the place when we were there (and I am fairly sure it was fully booked most nights) were quiet, friendly, respectful. It is a couple of minutes walk from the nearest bars, restaurants and shops. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a rooftop terrace with tables, chairs etc which we really enjoyed. Would 100% recommend this place.

Absolutely nothing!

Room was quiet and large with a really nice big bathroom and shower. Windows looked over an alley and other apartments, but we spent very little time in the room. They also had hurricane type shutters which not only blocked light they also made the room quieter. This is a quest house which means no breakfast, but there is a very nice shared kitchen. Also a wonderful terrace where we sat and ate sandwiches in the sun. The receptionist/manager was very nice and explained everything to us and made recommendations where to get breakfast. Happy House is wonderfully situated in Faro with an easy 10-15 minute walk to the train station, water front and old town.

The people in Happy House are very friendly and helpful. My room and bathroom were very clean and cosy. I used the very clean and spacious kitchen. There you can find: a fridge/freezer, a toaster, a coffee machine, a big table and lots of other useful items like dishes, knives and forks, ... Filtered water, coffee and tea, Olive oil, ...are for free. I enjoyed the roof garden, especially in the early morning hours. The Happy House is very well located. I felt very safe here. I spent 5 nights at this lovely place and are planning to come back in spring next year. Muito obrigada a todos!

Perfect location, clean room, has everything I needed plus more. Perfect if you are a Solo traveller and just want to refresh before a flight. I saw a couple of other travellers in the communal kitchen and outdoor space but really it was a very quiet place and not a party type or loud hostel. There is an elevator and tv had mtv and decent channels (again I was spending this time to regroup after a week of hiking around Portugal) so was perfect. I had stayed in 4 star hotels during my wider extended trip and this place was much nicer. I will stay here again for sure

Nothing, it was perfect

Tey have nice rooms with towls, hair dryer, toilet paper and a enough space for clothes etc., extra towls for the beach can be rented for 3€ (and keep as long as you want: extra bonus). Rooms have AC and windows with blinds (so you can keep your room dark for sleeping if you need). Additionally, you can use the common kitchen with free bisquits, coffee and tea. They also provide a fridge to store either left-overs from eating out or your groceries if you prefer to cook yourself. You can also use the (rooftop) terrace for eating or just chilling. Very nice and friendly staff helps you out with anything else if you need anything.

Keep in mind that the reception times are only from 2pm to 11pm. However they provide a phone number and are reachable if you have an emergency outside reception times (I had to use this once and they were very friendly about it).

Perfect location! You can walk there from the train station if necessary, with luggage . Excellent location over all. The room is a bit small but you don’t spend much time there. everything else was amazing. The terrace/patios were so beautiful and everything you could need in the kitchen. The staff was lovely and very pleasant.

This is our 4th or 5th time in Happy House and is always great to come back! Wonderful for travelling through Faro airport and some days in Algarve, Faro! Best location ever, right in the heart of Faro, with walking distance to all amenities, restaurants, shops, train station, turist attractions, transportation to airport, to Faro beach... Always a great spot to be while in Faro!

Good location where everything is at walking distance. Clean comfortable room. Kitchen with a fridge was a plus. In February the terrace was nice, in summer may be not...

If you haven't seen a slow elevator, you haven't been at Happy House. In February the bathroom's floor was uncomfortably cold. No place in the room for a suitcase.
