Great location. Friendly staff. Good cocktails. But pricey. Food average. Main point is location, nice places to walk and cycle. Beach clean. Has everything you need for a short stay.

Property was great however prices have gone up massively over the last few years. Do not book a cab to airport it cost us 25 euros for a 7 min trip. Get the bus. Drinks were way more than before. Not just this hotel but the area. Faro town is much cheaper. Sun beds are 20 euros and and for example two chicken salads were 33 euros. Shame as the areas is beautiful.

Location - stunning. Right on a beautiful beach and a relaxed vibe. Incredible rooftop bar with restaurant. Food was excellent. We enjoyed cold beer, burgers, fries, avocado toast, all was very good and I liked how there was a range of different sized food. Room was very small but there was a large wardrobe with drawers in, so plenty storage. Sea view from the side. Clean. They even supply beach towels and umbrellas, and have their own small shaded patio out front with loungers. All staff were nice and helpful. Breakfast was laid out in the morning, hot food, cheese and meats, pastries (delicious), cereals and yoghurts with nuts etc for toppings. Coffee machine. Tables inside and outside. Really peaceful and nice breakfast and good value at 10 euro.

Mattress had a memory foam topper and it just felt really soft and unsupportive. Room was situated near kitchen so couldn’t go to sleep til they’d finished but it wasn’t too late. Other than that It was all great.

We had a lovely one night stay at Golden Beach Guest House. From the beginning, the staff were very attentive and welcoming, and they made our stay easy and comfortable. Beach towels and a parasol were available, and the beach is accessible directly from the hotel. Breakfast was delicious with all tastes catered for. We were near the airport for our next day flight, but the noise of the aircraft didn't disturb us. There is a passenger ferry nearby which brought us through the nature reserve wetlands to downtown Faro in half an hour. It was a lovely stay and we highly recommend it

The staff were great, the location (being near the bridge & near the beach). It was sufficient in its comfort, facilities etc.

The breakfast is a bit poor for the price. Luckily, I wasn’t very hungry. No yoghurts, no cereals, hardly any bread-only 1 type of roll & 1 type of sliced bread to toast & hardly any of it. Cold boiled eggs…. Very noisy early in the morning…banging doors & kitchen noise. Luckily I had ear plugs.

Everyone is so friendly, helpful, and happy at Golden Beach. The Guest House has a prime setting on a beautiful sandy beach. Watching the sun go down at the rooftop bar is very special (especially with a lovely G&T). It really is a chill out place to relax and kick back. There are plenty of wonderful restaurants nearby to savour, and the food in Golden Beach is always beautifully prepared to order. Simply loved our time in this special place and will look forward to returning for more of the Golden Beach therapy :)

Good location, brilliant staff who could not do enough for you! Liked the rooftop bar and the food was very good. Comfortable rooms.

Breakfast was well presented but very ordinary, shame the outside sun beds didn’t have more outlook, a glass surround instead of the hedge would have been much better, so you could look out onto the beach/sea.
