Third time staying at the hotel in the space of 10 years, another great stay. Staff were friendly and helpful as ever, from the reception to the restaurant staff to the cleaning staff. Wonderful place to lounge by the pool, walk on the beach which is just a short stroll away, and even the tourist trap restaurants down the street were enjoyable. Special shout out to Well, the food was amazing. Will definitely come again!!

Only hiccup was I booked a premium room with a golf view and a bathtub, and even after swapping we got the bathroom but we still didn't get the view but decided to stick with it anyway. I'm not sure how much of the issue comes from the hotel or from booking.com itself but it made the arrival less pleasant than it could have been

The staff are all wonderful. It was lovely to see the same staff in the restaurant after our visit 7 years ago. Wonderful choice at breakfast. The orange juice is the best we've ever had anywhere!!! Great options for lunch at the snack bar.

A small gym.would be a good addition The pool was cold. When we came before, the water was lovely & warm

Location was perfect: on top of the beach and next to restaurants and bars, and very close to golf course. But quiet. Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable bed for a good night's sleep. Lovely, decent sized pool. Good breakfast buffet.

Bathroom outdated and needed a spring clean. Although handy man arrived without prompting to fix the the broken drying line across bath. Tennis courts playable but neglected.

Location was far enough to not have noise from the central Praça but close enough to walk there easily. 26 mins from the airport and close enough to walk to restaurants on or off the complex. Great choices of restaurants from Asian, to steakhouse to sushi and everything inbetween

Evening meal quite expensive, we would have like to try the Sunday Seafood buffet but at 60 euros etc without drinks, we considered just too expensive. Saying this we had an excellent meal of Chateubraid on the Saturday at 40 euros each which we thought was the right amount for a meal without drinks

The hotel was perfectly located near restaurants and bars and a beautiful beach .The facilities were excellent. Food super ( fab breakfast ) . No rush for beds plenty available all day . Sun beds on the beach part of hotel and again lots of availability’! Staff so friendly and couldn’t do enough for you !

Bedroom was huge but very dated compared to the rest of the hotel ! Beds were so comfortable!!

The location of the hotel is superb right by a beautiful beach that stretches for miles that is kept to a high standard of cleanliness. There are some restaurants and bars in front of the hotel where they also have live bands most nights. The hotel breakfast service is of a very high standard with a great variety of foods on offer. The food options for lunch and dinner also offer good quality at a reasonable price.

No gym which is a very unusual for a 5 star hotel these days. Even if there was a small gym it would be better than nothing.

Location, staff, enjoyed the suite , spaces and lots of packing room and beautiful bathroom .

More of view of the sea. Aspects of the hotel . like the outside and some of the other areas of the hotel that have not been redecorated need to be. It's in a prime location and can really do with additional investment. It has such potential and the staff were really great.

Our favourite things about the hotel are the heated outdoor pool, the kindness of the restaurant staff and cleaning crew and the kinds club. It was our second time back and it remains a favorite

The prices are pretty steep for the overall conditions. The pool was not cleaned for several days and the pool deck could use some renovations. I also didn’t appreciate that the lawn mowing was done at the same precise time as the morning yoga, when it can be scheduled on the several days without yoga

Breakfast and staff in F&B were excellent as always - swimming pool is lovely. Location of hotel is perfect too. Housekeeping & reception staff always excellent too. Bathroom toiletries are very nice and helpful to be replenished daily.

extra touches could be better. Putting water in the room daily by housekeeping for one especially in that heat! If you dont remember to buy one by pool or bar at night you'll suffer all night long unless you want to risk tap water. Standard rooms need updating and more room maintenance monitored. For example I had to get my key card updated daily even though I didnt keep it next to other cards. Last time I was there the balcony extra door shutter came off the hinges. Its getting old DF but they have the monopoly on VdeL . Expensive for standard rooms really

The location of this hotel is amazing! We stayed in a room that had been recently done up, and it was lovely! I wish we had a golf course or pool view though! The pool area and breakfast were both great, and it’s amazing to have free access to the beach too!

The hotel is under renovation so there are elements that need upgrading still. From the outside it needs updating, however the new rooms are lovely, pool is amazing, free access to the beach etc. Lunch and dinner could do with improving however breakfast was great!
