Stunning boutique hotel. Very peaceful. Pool area quiet and very comfortable. Glorious gardens. Breakfast area beautiful to sit out on in the morning. The staff were super friendly and couldn’t do more to help. The room was luxury with the most comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. Beautiful location but would definitely need to get taxis wherever you’re going. Sally & Maria found me a fabulous hairdresser to come to the hotel to do my hair for a wedding. No problem at all.

Nothing we didn’t like, however, felt the tiles and shower screen could have been cleaner in the bathroom (merely an observation).

I have been fortunate enough to stay at many Hotels in and around the area including the excellent Conrad, however, this is by far the best. The staff are exceptionally polite and welcoming and could not do enough for you. The Hotel is very welcoming, comfortable and the décor exceptional.

The weather!! But cant really blame the Hotel for that. Thankfully, I like dogs but there was no warning when booking that the owner of the Hotel has many dogs, luckily for me that wasnt a problem but potentially others may not like dogs even though they were very friendly and lovely, potentially there should be a comment when booking.

Beautiful small hotel in a residential neighbourhood, 25 minutes from Faro airport. Great building, well-decorated. Lovely staff, room, pool, garden, private terrace and lounge/dining areas. Good continental breakfast out on the terrace.

Although we were told that the high shower pressure needed managing, the bathroom floor flooded; we’re sure that this is easily rectified. The carpet needed cleaning and the sheets were stained. We like a double bed with a double mattress, not 2 single beds pushed together. We would, despite these minor issues, readily return. We’re sure that the helpful staff would have assisted us but we did not want to complain.

The great reception, the feeling of home away from home. A very cosy hotel, very friendly staff. Breakfast was perfect, fresh orange juice every time. The hotel has a living room for all the guests where you can meet, enjoy a drink around the fire place which was going all day long. In the evening you have the honesty bar for all drinks that are behind the bar. There is a large selection of bottles of red wine to choose from. You just take, write down what you took and at the end of your stay you pay. The feeling of trust is so good. The owner is a lovely lady from the UK, she and her staff are interested in your day and take their time to check on you.

In case of pet allergies, please be prepared as there are dogs on the premises.

it was small and friendly and in a lovely quiet area .The lady who owned it was lovely and the girl who worked on reception was helpful when asking for recommendations where to eat and booked us tables etc.

the bathroom was very dated and needed some work,there was a lot of dust on the tiles .Any cooked breakfast was to pay for as an extra.There was rarely anyone working on the bar and when we asked for a mojito we were told we had to wait for someone that knew how to do them .

The hotel is a hidden gem. Quiet and tranquil with that personal touch. All rooms are beautifully decorated and it has the feel of a French Chateau. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. In that area it is very competitively priced for the standard of accommodation. It is also dog friendly so look forward to bringing our boy in the future.

Having to leave. We always end our winter break in the algarve with a few days at Quinta Jacintina. It’s a good 25 mins to walk to the beach but a good way to earn your beer once you’ve got your steps in😀

The staff were very friendly, especially Wendy who was just the most loveliest and sweetest person. She really made an effort to get to know all guests and give helpful tourist information based on your likes. We we're also upgraded to the honeymoon suite as we are newlyweds which was so kind. Beds were so comfortable and the hotel was small and perfect. It has a family run vibe and everyone speaks excellent English.

Expect much more Mosquitos in this area. Will not deter us though

Wonderful warm welcome from the in-house team, absolutely nothing was too much trouble. Relaxed chilled atmosphere, staff were discreet yet present, the pool area was attractive and not overcrowded, the room was spacious, the bed so comfortable and the breakfast delicious. I couldn’t fault any of it, they had thought of everything - it was all just lovely. Thank you one and all - I will definitely be back!

There was absolutely nothing that I did not like except having to leave the place of course!

The hotel is peaceful and relaxing. Rooms are well appointed and the grounds are nicely laid out. It's a small hotel that offers something far from the package holiday experience. Management and staff stay for a long time and it's good to see the same people on return visits - we have stayed several times.

This small hotel (11 rooms) provides a quiet, relaxing, sociable base for an Algarve holiday. Good rooms, secluded garden, pool (for the brave), wood fire in the lounge / bar. Breakfasts are good, salad meals usually available at lunchtime. No evening meal. Very close to many of the best golf courses. We are serial visitors.
