The apartment was great and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Great beds and air con excellent . Pool area lovely for kids and adults

The pool is too far to walk if you have a babies buggy and there are no footpaths on the road in the complex. Too many steps makes it difficult with babies and people who are older .

The exceptional villa, the surroundings, the staff, the little supermarket, the pool, and the distance from the airport. The onsite Cafe (Noa) and Italian restaurant (Il Vero) were superb.

Not a lot! It’s amazing.!if you’re picky, the location doesn’t lend itself to walking anywhere for dinner, and the drinks at the pool were quite expensive. Luckily, the onsite food offering was so good, and I just bought drinks from the excellent supermarket and had drinks at the villa.

The location, the greenery, the staff were FABULOUS, swimming pool - just a great location. We were there off peak (for Portugal) but it was like being away in the UK's May in the middle of December. Cafe Noa was lovely. On site supermarket was excellent prices for captive holiday audience. Good range of products there. Not many holidays where you want to go back, but this is on the return visit list thats for sure.

Hard to find fault! - a mirror in the main room downstairs would have been helpful. A smaller saucepan in the kitchen. Maybe a choice of different thickness pillows? Thats about it!!

Everything!! The place was stunning, the staff went above and beyond, they were caring and attentive, we felt welcome from arrival till the very end, the facilities were clean, from the Villa, to the gym, the pool area, jacuzzi, the cafe, we used the ping pong table which was is good condition too. Value for money, the Villa had every appliance and kitchen utensil you could possibly need, my dad who works in kitchens was fascinated by the amount of equipment they provided us with. Thank you to the whole team for our wonderful stay 😊🙏🏽 We are so grateful and would surely be return in the near future

We cannot fault the place

Lovely comfortable apartments. Nicely decorated and very well equipped. It was a pleasant surprise to have the cleaners come part way through our stay. All the staff we met were very helpful and extremely pleasant.

This is minor but it would be helpful to have some assistance available with bags (even a self drive buggy). It was quite a trek with suitcases and golf clubs. This is particularly important for guests who don’t have their own car.

Great location for golfers with the villas within a few minutes walk of the clubhouse depending on your villa, or max few minutes drive. Nice swimming facilities and gym, great to have the supermarket nearby and additional Italian restaurant and NOA cafe with the Vilar do Golf resort. Obviously you have the full Quinta do Lago resport at your disposal but most facilities require a drive to get there or minimum 20-30 minute walk if you want to access either the Lake, Campus, Shopping Centre or Beach. We either jumped in the car which then took 5-8 minutes or Uber which was relatively quick and well priced with most drivers actually located around the main QDL resort.

Villas are in need of an upgrade and starting to look tired but I believe there is ongoing work to update and you can book a premium villa which I think have had the updates done.

Modern, spacious, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, large comfortable sofa bed, good air conditioning

Placement of recycling bins in kitchen dangerous as they were in a space under stairs so hit your head on corner when using them which happened a couple of times. Had to ask for shower gel/shampoo in bathrooms to be refilled as they left them empty at start of our stay.

The grounds are really nice, the staff are helpful and friendly. They provide you an option to WhatsApp if you have any issues and they check in with you to make sure all is okay. The pool is really nice and there are smaller ones for children or just relaxing, plus an indoor pool (we didn’t use). The room was okay, a little dated but the shower was okay and the beds comfy so no complaints really.

We have been staying every year for about 35 yrs now, home from home we love it! Staff are all excellent and we love the quiet and calm .We look forward to our visit every year.

disappointed that the pool meals were half the size from before .The meals used to be good value but we chose not to eat at pool after seeing how small the meals were. Last year we ate at Asian Fusion by pool which was lovely but that was closed and the cocktail hour was really busy the first night we arrived then finished the next day so bar was empty as drinks so expensive this year . Everyone loves the pool bar and staff are excellent but the price of drinks was ridiculous if you want to spend the day there and bar was empty most of time. Shame aswell the shop stopped selling ice!

It was a last-minute decision to book this after a horrendous stay elsewhere and what a relief! Gorgeous, sustainable practices were apparent, and a very well-equipped kitchen. Super comfy beds, plenty of space, internet worked wonderfully. I have nothing but praise for the accommodations and staff. Food options on site were very good also.

My only complaint is that I was only there for one night and that's my fault not theirs.
