We loved our stay at Solgarve! It was the perfect base to relax and explore the Algarve. - The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They arranged a rental car for us at a competitive price (same as Booking.com) but with more flexibility around drop-off times and location - plus we were supporting a Portuguese business. Best of all, the car was delivered directly to the property. - Free parking on-site was a huge bonus. - The pool was fantastic and there were enough sun beds and umbrellas for everyone staying at the property. - It had a very relaxed, safe, family-friendly feeling. - Convenient location within walking distance to a grocery store and the beach. We also walked to the promenade, but there’s a free bus available too. - The room was very clean and the beds were made daily. The shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. - The bedroom had air conditioning but we just slept with the windows open as there was a strong breeze that kept us cool. - Although checkout was at noon, we didn't need to leave for the airport until the evening and were welcome to enjoy the facilities all day. We were able to leave our luggage in reception so could spend the afternoon swimming before our flight.

- We had a car so were able to do day trips and explore the Algarve but without a car, you may feel a bit limited. However, there is public transport nearby and Ubers are very cheap so it shouldn't be a deterrent for staying here. We loved this location and felt very safe and relaxed throughout our visit

Absolutely fantastic apartment and swimming pool. Clean and tidy with room service every day. Miguel was fantastic and very helpful with information about travel plans and local things to do. I'm already missing chatting to him every morning. If I ever decide to come back to Quarteira, it's definitely to Solgarve and definitely for a minimum of 14 nights. All together, it was the best 10 nights of my life. Highly recommended for people who want a great place in Quarteira, not far from the beach and most importantly peaceful.

Very nice and clean hotel. Lovely attmosphere and nice room and specially the balcony, big and sunny.

Little bit faraway from the beach. But you can use bolt/uber and go to the restaurants, bars and shops.

The place is really nice, especially for families with children, the rooms are spacious, the living room is very bright, a fully equipped kitchen, a terrace overlooking the pool that makes eating there pleasant, the bathroom has good water pressure which although you may not believe it is essential when showering, there are two pools, one for small children and another larger one, the depth is very good 1.70 mt. The deeper area makes children feel safer swimming as well as parents, and the most important thing is the attention of the manager Miguel, a super friendly person and attentive to help you in everything, we really would repeat our stay there. Another thing is there is a supermarket about 400 meters from there and down that same street you can reach the beach, it is very close and you can walk ..

May be they will need a restaurant there to be a completo hotel.

It’s far away from the main strip to be quiet with only a 20 minute walk to the beach. It’s kept very clean and there always seems to be room available around the pool. Nice little bar for beer, spirits, coffee & ice creams. By far and away the best thing about the hotel is Miguel, who works hard before arrival & during our stay to make things as perfect as possible.

I tried to think of something for this section to add balance to the review, but couldn’t come up with anything. Perhaps some people may be uncomfortable with no staff in attendance at the property overnight, but certainly didn’t concern is.

The hotel was great! We were welcomed and checked in early. Everything was clean – rooms, corridors, and pools. Perfect for kids, with space to play and swim. There’s a small bar by the pool for drinks and ice cream. Bolt to the beach or fish market costs 3–4 euros, and free city buses are available. The room had all we needed: fridge, freezer, cooking stuff, dishes, wine glasses, and a coffee machine.

No towels for swimming pool but we were offered a clean old hotel towels.

Miguel was an amazing host. Anything needed he was there to help and such a lovely person too! Miguel & Samuel run a great place. The property was very clean. It had a lovely pool and was not too noisy also had air conditioning but because there was a nice air flow with the windows open at the back and balcony doors open it wasn’t always necessary to put the air conditioner on every day. Easy access to the beaches nearby walking 10-15 minutes. Local Lidl 10-15 mins also a laundry if needed 10-15 mins. For the other beaches in Vilamoura Ubers were really efficient always 2mins away.

The property isn’t great for a disabled person as it has a hill up to the building and stairs into the Apartment. It is mentioned in the Apartment accommodation. But we made it work as our family member could very slowly climb the six stairs so it wasn’t impossible. Renting a car would be ideal if you have a disabled family member. She did absolutely love it there. And I was told there is planning permission in the works! Thanks Samuel!

Nice big apartment, comfy bed, very clean, easy 10min walk to shops, restaurants and beach. Miguel the host is attentive, pleasant and most helpful. Housekeeping staff keep the property clean. Free local bus is a good service.

Being a bit further out of town i didn't expect it to be so child friendly. Pool /garden area is nice with good sun beds and umbrellas for shade, should be perfect for peace and quiet. Unfortunately children and parents made it more of a noisy playground during our stay. Not the fault of the property though but may be representative of the type of guests.

Pool was crystal clear, well stocked with lounges. Room was large and clean, well stocked kitchen (except dishwashing supplies strangely). Lovely balcony overlooking the pool.

No beach / pool towel supplied though they were kind enough to supply us old bath towels to use until we bought some of our own. AC only in the bedroom, so the rest of the apartment takes a long time to cool down.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 6-day stay at Solgarve Apartments in Quarteira. The apartment itself was comfortable and well-equipped, and the complex's pool was a fantastic way to cool off after exploring. The location was perfect for us - a quiet residential area, away from any loud noise or nightlife. We enjoyed the 20-minute walk to the beach, but on hotter days, a quick 7-minute taxi ride did the trick. A special shoutout to our host, Miguel! His warmth and hospitality truly made our experience incredible. He went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, offering great recommendations for local restaurants and activities. Miguel booked us on the Benagil Cave experience for us. He also kept us hydrated - there is a small onsite bar and ice cream selection, which was perfect in the blistering heat :). A real hit with us all! Overall, Solgarve Apartments provided a relaxing and memorable holiday for our family. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway in Quarteira, look no further!
