Great value for money- has everything you need (including air con and a TV!). Fantastic location- around a 10 minute walk into the centre of Faro and 15 minute walk to the port (to get the Ferry to the beach etc). No noise at all on a night. Friendly staff and cleaned daily to an excellent standard. Unable to comment on breakfast as we opted not to have this but staff were very helpful in giving us information about times and costs etc.

Very minimal downsides. The room was quite small but was absolutely fine for a couple. Walls are quite thin so could sometimes hear other guests in adjacent rooms during the day.

A beautiful and well-kept hotel – everything felt new, spotlessly clean, and nicely maintained. The location is excellent, less than a 10-minute walk to the city center. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was cleaned every morning, which we really appreciated. Breakfast was outstanding – very diverse and absolutely delicious. Truly a great experience, we highly recommend it!

The only downside was the location of our room. We were on the ground floor with a window facing the street, so we didn’t feel very comfortable leaving the window open – people were constantly walking by. Because of that, we couldn't ventilate the room at night, which was a bit inconvenient.

Easy check in and check out, staff was helpful and friendly, room was reasonably sized. Hotel provided fairly good options for breakfast - we especially liked many option of fresh pastries. Hotel is really close to the city center, couple of minutes by foot. Close by is also train station and bus station, which is ideal for making day trips. There are also many restaurants around to choose from, Hotel ideal for exporing of the neighbourhood and near by cities or nature, we enjoyed our stay here.

Nothing, all was fine for us. One small "problem" could be, that there was no elevator in the building we were assigned our room (there is elevator in the hotel to some rooms, but not all). It was not a problem for us, but might be problematic for other travellers, so maybe contact the hotel in advance if you need to be in the part were elevator is available.

I had a pleasant short stay at Made Inn Faro in late June 2025. The hotel seems recently renovated. Everything felt very clean, comfortable and practical. The staff was kind and welcoming, the breakfast was excellent with a rich and varied selection! The location is really good — just steps away from both train and bus stations in Faro, and a short walk from the beautiful Old town. Bus no 16 going to and from the airport stops just around the corner. Overall, a nice experience!

The only thing to note is that my room (306) didn’t have a real window — it faced a light shaft that also houses the elevator, so there is no natural view, nor direct sunlight in this particular room. This would be a downside for longer stays, but it wasn’t an issue for me since I stayed just one night (and then again, maybe this type of room is not assigned to guests who stay longer, I don't know that). Anyways, I would definitely recommend this hotel, but if natural light is important to you, it’s a good idea to contact the hotel in advance and ask for a room with a proper window facing the street - I believe they have many of those.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Made Inn Faro for one night, and I must say it was a delightful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with warm smiles and were incredibly welcoming, making us feel right at home. The room we were allocated was modern and bright, offering a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. It was evident that great care had been taken to ensure the room was well-appointed and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The air conditioning provided a cool and refreshing environment. Additionally, having a small terrace allowed us to enjoy some fresh air and take in the surroundings. One of the highlights of the room was the large shower. The bathroom itself was clean and well-maintained, and the spacious shower provided a luxurious and invigorating experience. It was evident that the hotel pays attention to the finer details, as the bathroom amenities were of high quality and added to the overall comfort of our stay. Another notable aspect of our experience at Hotel Made Inn Faro was the inclusion of breakfast. It's always a pleasure to wake up to a hearty meal, and the hotel did not disappoint. Location-wise, Hotel Made Inn Faro couldn't have been better situated. Its proximity to the marina meant that we could easily walk there and enjoy the picturesque views and vibrant atmosphere. Exploring the surrounding area was a breeze, and we were able to take full advantage of the local attractions and dining options within a short distance from the hotel. Overall, I highly recommend Hotel Made Inn Faro for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The reception team were all very friendly and helpful. All areas of the hotel including the room were very clean and nice. Wifi was good and fast. Shower was hot and very good pressure! The breakfast was very convenient and worth the money, though I would recommend exploring the many little cafes and coffee shops of Faro if you have time! Very convenient location for the train station.

The room was quite small. It's not ideal to spend a lot of time there. It's not the prettiest neighbourhood in comparison to other parts of Faro. I wish there were more pastel de natas available for breakfast!

Super clean room upon arrival. The hotel itself felt very relaxed and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with a great variety of food and drinks. The hotel is very central which allowed us to acsess tons of activities and restaurants by foot. Staff were very helpful. I left some feedback about the breakfast on a google form asking for some sauces and the next day they were there! Staff were very attentive. We couldn’t be happier with our stay. Thank you so much!!

I have nothing bad to say.

Hotel Made Inn Faro is a lovely small 2 Star hotel. It is very close to the bus and rail stations and to the marina area which has an abundance of cafes and restaurants. It is situated in a very quiet area of the city, with very little traffic noise. The staff were excellent in all areas throughout the hotel. They were efficient, friendly and helpful. Room was an adequate size with double-bed and ample ensuite bathroom. The A/C was efficient modern and easy to operate. Our breakfast was probably relative to the cost of our stay. There was no hot food but there was an ample supply of bread, eggs, cheese, cold cuts and cereals, which are probably more healthier than greasy fries anyway. There was also no bar on the premises, not a problem with all the establishments within a 10min walk. We enjoyed our two night short break with them.

The hotel entrance is situated on a very derelict street. This is a sad feature throughout Faro with many streets with derelict and abandoned buildings, some of which are very old and historical looking. We were a bit apprehensive returning to the hotel at night time. However, the street lighting was excellent and allayed our fears. We also discovered parallel streets which brought us back to the hotel which were less daunting.

The hotel is very close to the train station, just a few minutes walk, and it was easy to retrace my steps to find it. It is in a new building, and I do not like standard North American soul-less hotels. However, even though everything was new, the building layout was still funky. Plus, there were sustainability features incorporated into it. Ie: super insulated windows, and you put your key card in a slot by the door to activate the electricity. This way, you know where you left your key when you go to leave, too. There was a balcony to sit on, as well. It is a short walk to the walking mall, restaurants, shops, and just a wee bit further to the castle, and other sites.

The airport is really close to town. I am not sure if there is any place a person can stay in Faro without hearing the jets taking off and landing. And, this was not a problem for me, but others might worry. From the train station, you walk along the street the Inn is on, and the old buildings are empty, gutted. The whole block seems to be undergoing renovations. But, many empty old buildings in Faro are being upgraded.

Staff was very helpful and informative. Hotel is close to several good restaurants and it is near the train/bus station. Hotel is a short walk to tourist information center, the cathedral, and the old town gate. Several museums are also in the area. Hotel is in an area that is under redevelopment but is safe to walk. The facility is somewhat older but clean and comfortable including the lobby and room (bed and bathroom).

Parking is really limited...but we lucked out and someone left a spot right in front of the hotel which we pulled into and stayed there for three days. Price was a little high.
