Basically everything. The stay was well discounted and for that value it deserves a 10. Check in very friendly and professional. Very cosy house with a view toward the sea and chickens in a pen outside. Parking possible in front of the house. Very important: there was a citrus squeezer to make orange juice. Location is interesting: there's nothing really in the village of Pera, but it's cosy and quiet. I've found some almond and grenade trees on an unattended plot of land in the village, so that was a bonus. There are some cafes there, too. It's a 5 min drive to the beach and Armacao. I was with my mum and sister, and it would have been a great place to stay for longer, enjoying the tranquillity of the village with proximity to the sea, and to the N125 national road. We didn't use the motorway, but were visiting places on the coast travelling to the west, so sleeping here was a good break mid-way between Faro and Lagos. We returned here on the way back.

There state of bathroom, furniture and general house repair could be improved with some deeper cleaning, especially in the bathroom. But it is en par with the age of the houses (I guess at least 5, probably 10 years or more) so it's more a hint and not a complaint from me.

The café by the pool was closed until April 1st. We stayed March 20-27. Friends had stayed here in March a few years ago & had described ordering dinner from the café & having it delivered to their room. I was looking forward to that. We had to drive 15-20 minutes to a restaurant. The mattresses in our apartment 215…were too hard.

Hotel is located in a nice quite area in Pera . Pool and pool area is lovely .Plently of sunbeds. Great that the pool stays open until 9 during summertime. There is a nice snack bar too , run by a really lovely guy! Accomdation was perfect and has everything you need. Price was quite high though for what you get , as we had to book it last minute.

Perfect location with a secure entrance. Kitchen well equipped.2 bedrooms in our appartment of great size, plenty of storage with blackout curtains. Bathroom wad a good size great shower. Loved the swimming pool and sunbeds, the snack bar had nice variety of snacks and beverages The TV and sofa area was ideal and cozy. There were separate ACs in every room and they worked very well. Cleaning staff came every second day provided fresh towels. Over all an excellent property we will definitely be back.

I feel the snack bar could be developed more. Bring your own sunbathing towels not permitted to use property towels at pool. No entrance to pool before 9am and after 9pm, I feel this should be reviewed. Information of the area would be very helpful ie places to eat village markets pharmacy etc

Location is great, Pera is a nice centrally located town with plenty of dining options. It is located between Albufeira and Benagil - perfect for us. And close to shopping mall, only a 15 min drive. The pool was awesome! So clean and well maintained with loungers and umbrellas. The snack bar had delicious food at good prices and the staff are very friendly.

Beds in unit 212 are very firm. And it would have been nice if there was a proper coffee maker - Dolce Gusto or similar.

Nice holiday resort with pool and spacy apartments. Our apartment was well equipped and when we reported some problems with the dishwasher, it was soon replaced with a brand new one. Bedrooms and living were big, beds were comfortable, bathroom recently renovated (it could use some more storage space though). We had a nice balcony with plastic table and chairs where we had breakfasts and dinners - nice view of Olive trees and the sea on the horizon. It was also very peaceful and relaxing side of the town. The location of Pera is great - nearby beaches and cliff coast. Price was also good, so full satisfaction from our side.

The sofa in the living was a bit worn and the kitchen lacked some of regular tools, like grater. Also, take note that there are no supermarkets nearby.

I did have to call reception to get the location of my keys because I arrived after reception closed - discovered later that they had already send me a message through booking.com to tell me where to collect the key. These are self contained apartments, with bedroom, living room/kitchen and bathroom. Very clean

A part from not being able to find the remote for the tv, everything was good

My wife and i spent 10 days at Villa Barrocal, check in and out was made easy. Safe parking Villa Barrocal is a fabulous location, a safe and relaxing location with a great pool, the apartment was spotless clean due to the staff whom are always working away and so friendly. would recommend to couples and family's.

Very good appartment for this price. Actually I don't understand why it was so cheap. Good location if you have a car and so on.

Two things spoiled impression. The wi fi was terrible. Probably it has own schedule with 5 times per day siesta. The other point - lack of the windows, only the doors, which are not possible to open in vertical . And if you have an appartment at the ground floor, you have to sleep with the open doors, that don't let you feel safe.

We had a comfortable stay and the kids loved it. Attractions like Zoomarine, Slide and splash and Krazykart are close to this accommodation which made it an excellent choice to keep the kids entertained. The beach is also a few mins drive. The rooms were spacious and clean. Fresh towels were also supplied and housekeeping did a great job!
