Absolutely everything! This is without doubt one of the nicest, prettiest hotels we have ever stayed in. We were incredibly tired after walking a section of the Ruta Vincenta and arriving here was great. We were warmly welcomed by Antonio and Maria and a few glasses of home- made lemonade. The hotel is stunning as was our room with a small terrace. Top quality and a lovely pool. We were too tired to walk into town for an evening meal so the use of the free bikes was a welcome treat. Everything 10/10.

There is nothing.

The property as a whole as well as the rooms were very clean which is really important to us. The staff were so friendly and nice. For us, the location was great as it was really peaceful. Not only is there a pool at the property, but also tennis court-you can borrow the rackets and balls. There is a path next to the property on which you can take a walk to a nearby village. There is not a lot of restaurants in the village, but we dined in one of them and had delicious meals for fair price. Immediatelly after our arrival we decided to prolong our stay for additional two days.

This was not exactly a minus for us, but it might be for some-the lighting in the rooms is a bit dim. This was no problem for us as we only spent evenings/nights in the room and we liked that the lighting was not so bright. We note that some rooms have renovated bathrooms, while we stayed in rooms with the ‘older’ bathrooms-we note that also these could be ‘refreshed’ eventually

We needed a break from camping and this was the perfect place to do so. The staff was super friendly and helped us with our reservation at a local restaurant. The accommodation is a walkable distance from the small town, so you do not have to drive to get some food. Breakfast is available and looked great (we are not breakfast people so we did not try). The location is beautiful, with a nice view and a swimming pool. The rooms are big, clean and cosy. The shared area has a nice atmosphere and can be used to hang out or work. The outside area is big with multiple places to hang out (not just the swimming pool), so it really feels like a quiet vacation away from everything. Would love to visit again. The care and attention to every detail was superb. For example, the sheets on the bed were so smooth and fine, the housecoats and slippers were pristine and cozy and the decor was beautiful and welcoming. The staff were incredibly professional and friendly. The grounds with the pretty swimming pool and the gorgeous patios were very relaxing and so enjoyable. It was a pleasure to sample the fresh lemons from the trees beside our deck when we made meals in our kitchen. The breakfasts in the main lodge were delicious and had such variety from freshly cut fruit cups to several breads and desserts, eggs, cheese and bacon. My husband loved that there was ample parking and bicycles that we rode into little Sao Luis for groceries. We were spoiled and pampered during our stay.

We liked everything.

It's a lovely place. The super welcoming staff gave us a little tour and lots of useful information about places to eat in the nearby village (we took their recommendations—fab!). There is a very relaxed feeling to the place, with lovely touches like hammocks in the gardens and bikes you can use to get down the track to the village. Nice pool area, and the pool was clean and warm. It's clear the staff take a lot of pride in their work, and the hotel - I'll definitely stay here again, and for longer, then next time we're in Portugal.

Very quiet place, and the staff is very nice. Very good to rest.

Since this is a place very hot in summer, maybe some shade is missing outside. We also think that the place is missing some green gardens because every is dry. We like to do some stretching, and it's missing some green grass to do that. There is plenty of space.

Antonio and his staff went above and beyond expectations. During the recent bad weather that knocked out their hot water, Antonio and his staff provided an alternative accommodation and transport (as we were hiking). The breakfast was beautiful, delicious and very generous. The accommodation was very comfortable, clean and quiet. And the staff are warm and lovely.

Tranquil location, view from the bar/ breakfast room. Short distance from São Luis. Antonio was very helpful and recommended and made reservation for a restaurant in the village, which was superb. Also offered loan of bicycles for the restaurant visit. Good breakfast.

We would have appreciated water in the room and coffe/tea making facilities.

We absolutely loved our stay! The property is beautiful, room and bathroom super spacious [we had a plus of having a view to a private internal garden from our shower - very relaxing!], ultra comfort bed. Delicious and highly recommended breakfast [9 euros per person]. Lovely pool area with free lemonade refreshments provided all day long. Very friendly and helpful staff. Short drive [20 minutes] to the village of Vila Nova de Milfontes.

We loved everything and will definitely come back in the future. Just to make a minor suggestion, perhaps check out time could be extended to noon [it's currently at 11am].
