Excellent location, underground parking for the motorcycles. Supermarket next door. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and continually restocked. Good coffee too. Reception staff helped regarding trains to Porto, which we successful visited by train .. €5.90 each return.

No kettle in the room, however that seems the norm for both Spain & Portugal. May well be a UK thing, but I missed me coffee on bed !

the breakfast was very good. and the staff were exellent as they arranged taxi's for me no problem for were ever i was going. and they all spoke English wish was great for me as i can't speak Portuagess. would stay again if i was come to that area of Portugal.

the beds were a bit hard for me. i would have like drink making faclities in the room, of drinks machine in the recepition area. .

Super comfortable bed and lovely view over the town and river from the balcony. Exceptional and varied breakfast. Very switched on and diligent staff on reception and in restaurant in particular the 'slightly more senior' breakfast waitress who was exemplary, just gliding through her duties in the restaurant unobtrusively whether it was ensuring ingredients were always topped up or reading guests' requirements and the particularly calm way she politely handled a difficult guest who was complaining persistently simply because there was no camomile tea on offer

In my opinion excessive noise by the cleaning staff announcing their presence on the final day on three occasions starting at 10:30am albeit always very politely and parking the trolley directly outside the room when the majority of the other rooms on the floor had already been cleaned and were obviously empty evidenced by their doors being left open to let the air through, that despite check out being by 12 noon. The attention to detail should extend to all staff not just the front of house welcoming and restaurant staff. However, this small detail doesn't detract from the hotel's clear strive for perfection, was very possibly a one off and the only reason I did not score give a 10 score

Breakfast was adequate and fresh. There was not a broad variety, but it was enough. My room was a bit spartan but very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The room had a wide sliding glass door with nice access to a deck.

It is simply an older building and lacked some advantages of more modern hotels. The sink counter was quite deep and a little awkward, but it worked OK. The shower was a good size with good water pressure and short wait for the hot water.

The hotel was good, staff very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and bed very comfy

Only one issue that we didn't like. Our room was on the 4th floor and the hotel only had one lift which was woefully inadequate when the hotel had a lot of guests

A super hotel in the center of Ovar, excellent value for money, extremely helpful, caring and flexible team at the reception. Spacious rooms, super clean, all rooms with balcony, comfy mattresses, great breakfast, fresh and modern design. A special thanks to Mariana and Margarida !

Stayed for one night on a cycle tour Porto to Lisbon. Safe cycle storage in hotel garage. Bed and pillows comfy. Breakfast ok. Arrived early and caught a train into Aveiro for the evening.

The room (and the hotel as well) appears to have been newly renovated. My room has a balcony overlooking the river. There is a medium-sized supermarket next to the hotel which is really convenient for some drinks or snacks. The staff was very friendly, helpful yet efficient.

The stuff was exceptionally nice. Good 11/10. The bedroom was very clean and the double bed was very big and comfortable. Also, the view on the city was very cute.

The breakfast could be better. It was okay.

Location, room, amenities, staff, breakfast were awesome!
