loved the hotel and spa breakfast excellent

we arranged to stay an extra two days which meant changing to a better room and of course spending more money . when I approached the manager on reception about being able to move upstairs I asked could we stay in our room until the new one was ready . simple really as they could have cleaned our room last and the new room first . He was extremely rude and said did I not know we had to be out of our room at 12 I think it was and the other room wouldn’t be ready until 3 .He was so rude and turned to another customer as I was speaking to him . I walked away . obviously someone changed his mind because after a while he knocked on our door to say we could go straight upstairs . I have to say all the other staff were extremely helpful and pleasant . He actually really upset me

Balcony onto beach was nice to have. Well located to beach, restaurants, shops etc On site massage, spa and sauna were a definite plus. Had a hot sauna and excellent massage. These facilities are immaculately clean and well maintained. Some daybeds a bit worn. Staff were very friendly, helpful and happy 100% - they were exemplary. Plenty of on street parking when we arrived.

Very small issues such as lack of a small fridge and no in room facility for making a cup of tea. However, staff were pleased to provide hot water for a cup of tea.

The rooms are very clean and the view of the sea is quite pleasant. The coffee machine with free capsules in the room was really nice and useful. The breakfast was good and with a nice variety. All the staff was nice and helpful.

Unfortunately the free wi-fi didn't always work, which can make it difficult if you need to work from the hotel.

Great location. Close to the beach and also close to Ovar industrial center. Room very comfortable, clean and quiet. Outstanding breakfast.

Breakfast started at 7:30am on weekdays, which was a little late for us as business travellers.

Location, cleanliness, and the lobby area was very inviting.

The breakfast was sadly lacking, skimpy, and we felt that we were inconveniencing the staff/owner. In particular, the coffee was bad and, when asking for more eggs, it seemed apparent that the quantity - and quality - was not going to increase until we spoke up and asked for more.

I stayed at this hotel five years prior to this last visit and it was just as beautiful as I remembered it ~ you are literally steps from the beach! Unfortunately, I became ill with food poisoning and spent most of my time in my room. When checking out I was in need of something easy on my stomach and the front desk agent immediately called the kitchen and they put together a grilled ham and cheese for me! It was such a kind gesture and so appreciated! Definitely made a customer for life!

Location, location, location! Amazing view of the ocean from our room, loved watching the sunset over the sea from our balcony. Plenty of places to eat in the immediate area. We were glad we had prebooked a parking space in the secure garage, as there were no spaces on the streets nearby. Good choice for breakfast. We didn’t use the spa facilities.

Great location on the sea front. Wonderful staff at reception and in the spa. Terrific massage and general treatments. Hotel is geared to help and facilitate cyclists. Very good breakfast

Great position on sea front. Very helpful staff especially receptionist. Good breakfast options and a very comfortable room. Spa was good I enjoyed it but surprised to be only person there.

Enjoyed our stay. Very convenient and pleasant stop on our journey North.
