It's right on the beach, but also only a short walk to many shops and restaurants, so the location is perfect. Our room faced the ocean, and it was wonderful watching what was happening on the beach from the balcony.

There was duffe duffe music playing out the beach side of the hotel near the public pool. It was so loud that I had grave concerns we wouldn't be able to sleep. I asked reception what time it would finish and was told it could be 11pm or 1am. As we were on the second floor and the noise was booming, it was a worry. Luckily it was very windy and no one was around so they packed up early and didn't return for the rest of our stay.

The hotel is located at the beach, 20 minutes ride from Porto. They are very kind and helpful at the reception. Breakfast is fantastic and the hours are even great. On the weekend they offer breakfast till 1130. They have bikes on site that can be rented. Parking is also available. You need a swimming cap to use the spa but it is also available at the reception. All in all great hotel to stay when either spending time at the beach or visiting Porto.

It is a bit of an old-fashioned hotel, but you have all that you need. Can't really name anything that we did not like.

We had a view of the pools (indoor and outdoor) and of the sea. It was raining so we had a great time at the indoor pool and sauna. My two daughters loved it. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. They slept in the sofa bed while my husband and I had the double bed. We also had a cot for our 1-month-old baby boy and he slept all night for the first time. We could hear the amazing sea. The breakfast was amazing with a view towards the beach. We also had an expresso machine in our room and we asked for some decaf at night and had those. I do recommend staying even in January when it's cold and rainy.

The parking garage was not directly linked to the hotel. It was raining and we had to get outside to come back into the hotel.

We had a sea view room, which was spacious and, most importantly, very comfortable beds. The room was clean and had everything we required. The pool and associated facilities were excellent ( all working which made a change from some hotels), the water temperature was also perfect. The location is excellent for exploring the town and being close to the various restaurants and bars. Will definitely stay again when next in the area.

Nothing, really. No private parking was an option on booking, but ample street parking was available on thecsea front around 100m away.

- The breakfast was amazing (food and place) - Very comfortable and clean room with great views of the beach - Variety of amenities, like sauna, gym, pool and massage (this last one paid but on site) - Friendly staff

- Pool was not very big and too full of children. Very noicy and crowded. - People leave their things occupying a recliner when they are not using them. - There were little aesthetical details that need fixing, like the roof on the pool space or some tiles on the bathroom. - Suggestion: make something cute with that terrace outside the pool, it looks very sad and has great potential.

The Room where refurbished ,because on our last Trip 4 Year,s ago it had come all a little bit of Age for a 4 Star Hotel. We had a Room with Side view to the Beach so very nice. The Room for the breakfast and the Hotelbar where also new. All around we where very Happy with our Holiday in this Hotel. The Restaurant Advisor where a very nice Person to help all the Guest to get happy with the Breakfast in the Morning.

The Room Service where a little bit Late.

The location was beautiful, our room was fantastic and the view was breathtaking and one of the nicest staying experiences I've ever had. The huge beach facing room was fit for a family of 6 and there were only 2 of us. We had the best view of the beach on the 8th floor. The massive bathroom and shower and walk in closet made this feel so luxurious. A premium mattress and good size TV made this feel so special and exclusive. The indoor pool was great and the sauna/steam room was a good size. All were quite clean. We didn't try out the massage services but they had a few masusses walking around. The breakfast was pretty average and food they served was good if you're in a pinch and your between opening ours of Resturants. The staff were pleseant and helpful, the breakfast staff were very attentive to my girlfriend as she was Vegan which we appreciated. Big shout out to the young woman who worked at the bar, she spoke great English, was very hard working and helpful to a lot of guests she really stood out and deserves a raise!

I love to work out and the gym was pretty old so just be aware they don't have many weight lifting equipment, just a few machines and treadmills. I didn't have the best experience with the front of house staff at reception. This is me really knit picking but they weren't really enthusiastic or too attentive. They let the experience down just a bit as I'd say this is very much a 4 star hotel.

The view was truly breathtaking, breakfast was really good (with local products - always a nice touch!), the spa area - pleasant. Generally, should you need calm and relaxation, Espinho is the place to be - we will come back next year! Ps. Try "O Barraquinha" restaurant - you won't regret it!

No complaints whatsoever. If the hotel has a "faded glory" aspect to it, it only adds to the experience.

Location was great, staff were excellent, breakfast was fantastic, heated pool & sauna was welcomed & the staff were brilliant - couldn’t do enough. Did I mention the location?

The only negative experience we had was our electronic key kept failing and not allowing us into our room which meant many visits back to reception. Eventually a handyman was called to recode the door & all was tickety boo after that.

Very bad WiFi connection. Had to go to reception few times because key card didn't worked. Looks like it was working only one time. The next time I had to go down to reception again. It's was not very comfortable, specially if you go from sauna/pool only with towel wait at the reception at cold until you will be served... because new come guest with clothes looks like have a much higher priority :(
