I initially booked for 5 nights, but ending up staying 10. The place is super centrally located and you can easily make day-trips to various locations (Coimbra, Braga, Guimares, Geres National Park, Aveiro, Foz, the Douro Valley). Porto is an excellent base if you don't want to be moving from one hotel to another, which can be exhausting. As a female solo traveler it felt very safe, which is important to me. I stayed here because the hotel was sooo clean and I'm kind of a neat freak, and was fresh and smelled very good. I felt more comfortable in their bed than in my own sheets! The staff was also very friendly and the people at the reception gave me nice tips on what to see and where to eat, which was much appreciated. The hotel was on the pricier side than what I was used to - it was my first experience in a mid-range hotel as a young professional. I have no regrets! If you want to treat yourself to a nice place that is right next to the Bento train station, it is the place to be. Oh yes, and you might be wondering: is it too loud at night, since we are in the main tourist hub? I am a very light sleeper and sensitive to sound and I was not bothered by it - the building is super well sound proofed. And if you are into brutalist architecture, you'll love the design of this place. Thanks S. Bento residences for such a memorable experience.

Nothing - just a few suggestions for the hotel: maybe add some hooks outside the shower to hang the towels and provide bathrobes. That would really elevate the experience.

Excellent location, very central but some might find it too central - right next to the S.Bento train station, with lots of commuters, cars, tourists etc. but it is very easy to take metro and trains. Uber will take a little longer to get here due to the heavy traffic, and they are building a new subway in this area so things are chaotic. That said, the room has great sound proofing so we barely hear anything outside (barring the occasional sirens from police cars and ambulances) with the windows closed. Blackout shades are very helpful for privacy during the day and the room gets very bright and well lit with the shades up/open. The décor is very modern and tasteful, living room area has large TV with comfortable sofa (great for movie watching after a day of walking around town). Kitchen is small but very well equipped, we didn't do much cooking but appreciated the coffee maker and the plates/utensils for our occasional snacks. Staff is very nice and tries to make sure you are enjoying your stay. The lady at front desk that checked us in took the time to highlight the tourists sights and events (we were in town on the last day of Italian Fair - great food there by the way!) Daily cleaning is included and they do a great job, access to washer (no dryer though). And one free bottle of water daily is very nice!

Overall, excellent value for the money and I'd totally stay here again. However, one suggestion I'd make is to change the washer to a washer/dryer combo unit (I'd be willing to pay extra for that) - it makes a huge difference in convenience and also helps the mold problem in the washer (the washer in our unit had lots of dark residue/mold in the door casket area due to moisture build-up). Or at least, make sure to have one drying rack per apartment. We could not get a drying rack until the afternoon of the second day. The clothes line in the bathroom is insufficient - the area is too humid, and our clothes did not dry after one full day. They mostly dried overnight on the dying rack in the living room area.

The location was perfect for exploring the city of Porto, but also wider cities due to the proximity of the train station. You also have the Time Out market right next door, which serves great food and was a lovely way to end your evenings exploring Porto. I highly recommend these apartments, they are very modern, and in my opinion the pictures didn't do them justice. Also, please note that even though the train station is close by, there is no noise in the apartments as they have been designed really weel for soundproofing.

There wasn't anything we didn't like about our stay here.

The accommodations were absolutely GORGEOUS! We really enjoyed our 3 night stay. The room was modern & tastefully decorated, great views and comfortable beds. The location is THE BEST! We walked to everything. There is literally a Time Out Food Market around the corner and the beautiful historic train station is next door. Although there is construction in the area right now, it did not hamper our stay nor could we hear noise that would disrupt our sleep. The service here is EXCELLENT and they constantly strived to make our stay a wonderful one. As an extra bonus, our delicious breakfast was delivered to our room every morning. Porto is a beautiful city and I highly recommend staying at S. Bento Residences and would do so again if I am fortunate enough to return. OUTSTANDING stay!

Nothing! It was perfect!

Just for the location (literally outside the famous Sao Bento station) and the historic building these apartments are in, it's worth staying here. But this is also a very modern, super well appointed, comfortable stay option. The staff is always around to help, even with Silly requests. The views and wrap Round balconies are breathtaking. And the interiors are just fascinating. Every comfort needed in an apartment are taken care of And they have wonderful breakfast boxes served straight to the room at exactly the time you want it I can't believe such a wholesome stay exists at such a phenomenal location. Totally worth reserving months in advance

S. Bento is centrally located and walkable to most attractions. Right next to Sao Bento Station and metro. It has a small kitchenette, and washer. Nice space, comfortable beds and AC. Considering its location, noise isolation is fairly good. The only thing to consider at this time is that there is major construction is going on next door and the noise from it goes on all day. Also there is only a tiny check-in room and no lobby area to speak of. The staff is helpful.

Everything in the apartment is pretty new and functional. Location is extremely convenient with metro, train station, restaurants, cafes and viewpoints in a short walking distance. House keeping ladies do a nice job, there’s always a neat room waiting for us after the whole day out.

Molds in the shower room is really depressed. None of the house keeping ladies’ business, it’s there during our first two- night booking, it’s still there when we checked in for our second booking of nine nights.

The location was perfect all the main attractions are just a short walk away, the room space was great for two person, and the workers were very friendly and supportive for all our requests and they provide us with great recommendations!

The transportation service was terrible, we asked for an taxi in our check out and one of the worker provide us with an old dirty taxi car that our baggages was barely fit’s in the car trunk, the driver was driving recklessly and he refused to give us the exchange for the cash!

Located just across a small lane to San Bento Station, few minutes walk to the Bridge and food street, so convenient. And the modern style interior deco., very comfortable. Staff was helpful for restaurants recommendation, taxi arrangement.

Ground is The Good Burger runs to 2am. Yes, their clients' laughing noise so loud till after midnight. The so-called Continental breakfast came with 4 hard breads, 2 sweet crossaints, 2 natas. Though there's ham and fruits. Too much made from flour, too less from protein.

Superb location at a modern, well-equipped apartment opposite the historic train station and with the metro station right outside the door. 24 h reception (though small) and helpful staff - was able to store my bag there from two days before my check-in. I liked the facilities - Washing machine, kitchenette, two balconies. There’s a Local diner right across the street serving freshly cooked eggs and ham, etc. It’s my second stay because it’s location cannot be beaten.
