The hotel has an incredible location, literally in the centre of all the sites, shops and restaurants. Very clean with a smart executive decor. There's also a nice courtyard we made use of, with seating and table in the middle of the building, to enjoy the vouchers for the buy one to get one free drink at the bar. Fresh apple at the reception and flavoured water was also nice touch. The rooms are huge and the bed was literally square i.e. a Super King, wooden floor, high ceiling and we went with the small balcony looking over the street. The sound insulation is fantastic, you can literally hear the noise and buzz of the city centre when opening the balcony door and when shut, instant silence. Breakfast was very good, plenty of options that is constantly being refreshed, along with the obligatory Pastel De Natas. The coffee and lattes from the automatic machines was good, but even better, there's also a Nespresso machine with the larger capsules and we used the hot milk from the auto machine - Rare to have the option of both in a hotel. One last shout-out is to the barman that was making signature cocktails, after sampling the local Port, we had to give "The weeks cocktail" a try, photo as seen in the elevator and it came out like a work of art exactly like the photo, thin lime skin wrapping around a straw - very nice finish!!! Highly recommended and would definitely book again and start looking at other Eurostars hotels in other cities.

The only possible issue, the bathroom is open but there is a door on the toilet and shower area, but the adjoining space is open. We didn't have a problem as one person can still use the toilet and one can shower at the same time. Also some of the comments are correct, it does lack towel and clothes hooks in the space immediately outside the shower, we just used the bar below the sink. The only thing missing is an onsite gym, there is access to one across the street, but not quite the same as slinking back to your room for a shower after a workout. However we discovered the hills and steps of Porto is enough of a fun workout!

The location of the hotel is perfect, the size of the room, very comfortable bed, great breakfast, helpful staff. There is a kettle in the room with tea bags etc. We got better room than we have booked and it was very nice. Also got great breakfast box with us to the airport.

It could be nice to have all the personal care items in the room, without having to ask for them. It's also would have been nice to have a coffee machine in the room and more complimentary drinks.

Clean and modern, my room was enormous with a beautiful glass-walled bathroom. Privacy doors on the shower and toilet, nice toiletries and a decent hairdryer. Good selection of hot and cold food at the breakfast buffet. Staff friendly and helpful. Close to Sao Bento station so convenient for going places, although the area is currently disrupted by construction work on the new metro line. Lots of nice restaurants in the area and most tourist sights are within walking distance.

Area was quite noisy with loud music from the restaurant across the road and generally busy streets nearby.

Nicely located in the city centre - you are a short 5 to 10 minute walk from basically every landmark in the city - the old bridge, the train station, the farmers market, main shopping street etc. The room was OK, and had the necessary amenities. The heating was working good, the internet connection was solid, although some of the services didn't work (like email servers fetch). The cleanliness was good, and the breakfast was plentiful and had everything for different needs. There's also gluten free option for the breakfast. The little chocolates in the room are a nice plus.

The bathroom has a strange concept where it's basically the part of the main room. So for couples it might not be a problem because there's very little privacy, but for business visits of more people or if the same family members are not used to this sort of "concept" might not be the best choice. The rooms that look on the inside have also almost no privacy because the windows are big and everyone can look inside other rooms (unless curtains are pulled of course). It can be a bit noisy during the night as it's in the city centre. Our room was also not ready when we arrived and it was 19h already (check-in is from 14h) and they said we need to wait for additional 30 minutes. Finally they changed the room to a different one but we also waited for 15 minutes during the check-in.

Clean, good location. Helpful staff. Breakfast had a great variety and good quality of food.

The hotel itself was great, just a couple of unfortunate things outside the hotel: Proximity to a vender who stood outside the front door barking his ticket deals all day. Not sure the hotel can prevent this. Also (again nothing to do with the hotel itself), we happened to be in town the week that the colleges celebrate graduating and they screamed their chants into early mornings several nights in a row. I was told this is a tradition this week (first week of May) but I wonder why the city allows it to go on so late all over town. Maybe the city could contain this tradition within the college campus?

Large rooms for 3 people. We faced an issue with the room, and they did not hesitate to chage us to another one. Good breakfast variety.

Bathroom open to the room and less privacy

Great location, nicely designed room, very friendly and efficient staff on reception. Vast choice of meals at breakfast, discounts for children.

You must inform guests that shower and toilet are almost not separated from the room because not all families are ready to share their daily routines with each other. That was a bit unpleasant. Do you yourself like to watch your family members sitting in the toilet?

The hotel was fabulous, clean, with everything you could need. The staff were great, friendly, and attentive, especially the barman/room service chap, I think his name was Michael. Couldn't have asked for more from the hotel.

The breakfast wasn't great. It was a bit cold and limited. The breakfast scoops aren't great. The toaster was slow and didn't work very well. Hotel fabulous, but the breakfast was a bit disappointing.

Location, cleaness, breakfast, space of the room! The bed was so comfortable! We loved staying at the hotel, with only one issue described bellow.

They don’t have a door between the toilets and the room, so not a lot of privacy for the guests (if you want to brush your teeth while the others are sleeping you cannot, otherwise you’ll wake them up with the lights and noises). A small detail that really bothered us. We would have liked to know this before our stay. Otherwise, everything else was perfect

I stayed for 2 nights and the mood of the room was good, and the size of the bedroom was large enough and comfortable. All items in the room were clean and well-managed. The lobby service was calm and professional. The location of this hotel is in a very crowded area of ​​Porto city, but the soundproofing of the windows is very good, so outside noise is almost completely blocked. There were times when I could hear a little noise from the surrounding rooms, but even I, a light sleeper, was able to sleep comfortably without any disturbance.
