Great central location, making it easy to access most parts of town walking. Lovely patio outside and good pool area. Gym is simply equipped but better than nothing. Staff was very nice and helpful.

Wish our room wasn’t in the lower ground, with very little light coming in, but not a biggie as we were out most of the time. Would have been nice to provide hair conditioner (apparently it’s provided in more expensive rooms, but considering we paid 230€ per night, I feel like it should be provided, it’s a staple for hotels of this standing).

What is not to like? The service, breakfast, rooms, restaurant and bar? The pool area? No its simply superb. The staff are super friendly without being imposing. The rooms are very nice and comfy. Breakfast. Super nice and the staff is always on hand to fill up. Extra marks for breakfast. We will definately be back in the lovely city of Porto and to this hotel. I just hope it doesn't get too popular so the prices go up.

Absolutely nothing. Seriously! The most nitpicking person would find it hard to find something wrong with this hotel or its fantastic staff. By the way I am not related to anyone at the hotel! They are simply good at their job. Probably should get a raise!

Fantastic staff. Great pool, catching the sun most of the day with loungers and shades available. Room was compact but not claustrophobic because of the balcony. Really good sound proofing, when the balcony door was closed it was like putting on headphones! Bathroom was modern, with two sliding doors for privacy. Entrance is on a nice pedestrian street. Outdoor, covered patio with seating for food/drinks. Highly recommend for a short break in Porto.

Could possibly do with sun umbrellas on the unpaved side of the pool. Cocktails didn't taste strong, but bar service to the pool was a plus. No real complaints, great hotel.

Beautifully decorated room, nice balcony with pleasant view, lots of extras in the Privileges rooms, plenty of good storage space. I especially liked all the shelves on walls, a really smart addition and very useful for travellers. Great breakfast buffet.

There were no instructions for anything so it was hard to work out the air conditioning unit, TV, Bose audio, etc. and had some trouble with temperature control, seemed like the room was a,ways too hot or too cold. Very difficult to prop the balcony door for fresh air. Initial instructions from the hotel about parking and dropping our bags were inadequate so our arrival was very confused and stressful.

Super hotel in a good location. The staff had a relaxed but yet professional persona. The rooms overlooking the garden were a good size and the facilities were excellent. Breakfast options were fabulous and the restaurant offered a good selection of tapas and other main course’s & desserts which could be eaten in the garden area.

Depending on room options, the balcony offered no privacy from neighbouring room.

The place was beautiful and impeccably clean, the staff was welcoming and professional, and the location was extremely central yet the room was tranquil. Highly recommend it.

Honestly, nothing, but if I could give constructive criticism would be to put more tissues in the tissue box and have different products for shampoo and body wash. Maybe having more toiletry products too, I missed cotton disks to clean my face since at this price point, I expected the hotel to have them. But honestly, just details, overall the experience was extremely pleasant.

The hotel was lovely, the staff were super friendly and helpful. The gardens and pool was such a great treat and beautiful place to relax after a day exploring. We were on level 0 and had a beautiful private patio off of the garden to relax.

No milk in the rooms for tea and coffee. Our toilet drain had a bad smell at time but when we brought it up with the reception staff the offered us another room which we didn’t accept as we were already settled in our room and our day/night was full of plans. They sent someone to do an extra clean and put detergent in the pan which help for a while. We we’re also given a complimentary drink but it was very limited choice.

I had an amazing stay at Mercure hotel .The location is absolutely perfect – close to everything you’d want to see and do in the city. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always went out of their way to make sure we felt comfortable. The rooms were spacious, modern, and very well maintained, making it a real pleasure to come back after a day of exploring. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Porto – it truly exceeded my expectations!

Everything is the most gorgeous hotel .The rooms were so fresh and spotless the lovely lady who cleaned our rooms was always smiling. The staff were so helpful that Francesco was always on hand and took great care of us .He advised us on the wine 🍷 and Port . The food for breakfast and dinner was so delicious. I can't compliment the chief enough. It was the best Mercure Hotel l have stayed in, and l will be back. Thank you to the wonderful Staff who made our stay so wonderful ❤️

Location was fantastic, pool is great, outdoor terrace is lovely, room is clean and cosy with a nice balcony.

Breakfast was ok. Staff was very nice, but not super attentive. Bit of a scam with the 10 euro offer to skip cleaning your room - refused to apply the credit. Put a damper on an otherwise lovely stay.
