Beautifully decorated room, nice balcony with pleasant view, lots of extras in the Privileges rooms, plenty of good storage space. I especially liked all the shelves on walls, a really smart addition and very useful for travellers. Great breakfast buffet.

There were no instructions for anything so it was hard to work out the air conditioning unit, TV, Bose audio, etc. and had some trouble with temperature control, seemed like the room was a,ways too hot or too cold. Very difficult to prop the balcony door for fresh air. Initial instructions from the hotel about parking and dropping our bags were inadequate so our arrival was very confused and stressful.

The place was beautiful and impeccably clean, the staff was welcoming and professional, and the location was extremely central yet the room was tranquil. Highly recommend it.

Honestly, nothing, but if I could give constructive criticism would be to put more tissues in the tissue box and have different products for shampoo and body wash. Maybe having more toiletry products too, I missed cotton disks to clean my face since at this price point, I expected the hotel to have them. But honestly, just details, overall the experience was extremely pleasant.

The hotel was lovely, the staff were super friendly and helpful. The gardens and pool was such a great treat and beautiful place to relax after a day exploring. We were on level 0 and had a beautiful private patio off of the garden to relax.

No milk in the rooms for tea and coffee. Our toilet drain had a bad smell at time but when we brought it up with the reception staff the offered us another room which we didn’t accept as we were already settled in our room and our day/night was full of plans. They sent someone to do an extra clean and put detergent in the pan which help for a while. We we’re also given a complimentary drink but it was very limited choice.

Everything is the most gorgeous hotel .The rooms were so fresh and spotless the lovely lady who cleaned our rooms was always smiling. The staff were so helpful that Francesco was always on hand and took great care of us .He advised us on the wine 🍷 and Port . The food for breakfast and dinner was so delicious. I can't compliment the chief enough. It was the best Mercure Hotel l have stayed in, and l will be back. Thank you to the wonderful Staff who made our stay so wonderful ❤️

Absolutely fantastic location right in the middle of everything but tucked away on a private walking street with several good restaurants just outside. So easy to find your way back to this little oasis after wandering the streets of the city all day! Room was lovely with the most comfortable bed, modern bath and quaint views. Lush gardens in back are a perfect spot for a glass of wine or a dip in the pool. Friendly, accommodating staff. Couldn’t ask for a better place in Porto!

I loved the professional young staff, the strategic central location near everything, the modern and stylish design. Breakfast is delicious and full of choices! Also their sustainability programs are interesting and aim to save water and waste. But the staff make the difference. They made all our stay super! Thank you Julie and Ana for your great help.

I suggest to add a mattress cover under the sheet, (there is only one sheet and is not very hygienically correct) and air system in the bathroom.

The location is perfect to visit the city, based right in the centre 2 mins from a large carpark, 5 mins walk from the central market. The river is walkable, but up a big hill, there are plenty of taxis to use. Despite its central location, it is an oasis of calm with a private back garden and a lovely heated outdoor pool, pool towels are provided, an outdoor bar, and a patio area. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the walk-in shower was excellent. There was a balcony outside and a hairdryer, fridge, safe, and Bose speaker in the room. The breakfast was excellent, and there were lots of local dishes alongside the traditional breakfast items. The staff were outstandingly helpful and friendly. There are several excellent restaurants in the same street.

The location was great, but if you have a car driving, it is horrendous! The hotel itself has very few faults, all I can think of is that the restaurant menu is a bit restrictive, and the toaster was very slow!

The hotel location is absolutely cool, small oasis in big city center. The swimming pool was nice, the whole hotel was stylish and nice. Breakfast was interesting and contains a lot of buns and fruits, but for the main course, not so many options. I would like to say it is a good place to stay if you are a fan of old city walking paths.

During the night, the ventilation system was a little bit annoying, and you had no possibility of locking the bathroom door and door from the bathroom to the toilet. It is not a classic door. It is with a swiping mechanism.

Not only attractive, but very practical. Everything works well. The staff was helpful and responsive. The breakfasts were exceptional. Loved the balcony, felt safe in the shower (no fear of slipping) .

The hotel is very nice inside. The location is walking distance to the river and strip. It’s nicely situated on a street is pretty much for walking only. The entrance was nice. Super cold though. AC on full blast in the lobby. The view of their pool and garden was very nice and relaxing. For a family of 4 the connecting rooms was absolutely fantastic! Such a great option.

The hotel was a a little difficult to get to with luggages . Do not come with a car. There is 0 parking.
