Breakfast was average. Location was great although road works and restrictions made access a little difficult. Indeed the whole of Porto centre is not the most attractive place at the moment due to the Metro extension works. To cap it the building next door to the hotel is being renovated (work 8 to 6)! The hotel was renovated a couple of years ago and done up attractively if a bit minimalist. The staff do their best in difficult circumstances and Elizabet was particularly helpful to us with our transfer arrangements. Little snags were lack of shower gel, plug in wash-hand basin not working and towels too small!

Everything was wonderful about this hotel. The location is convenient for walking to restaurants, coffee shops and tourist locations. The breakfast was really good. It was fresh and had a lot of different options. I loved the omelette, crepes and homemade cake. Our room was modern, comfortable and clean. We liked that we had access to unlimited filtered water. It’s a small thing but we had to buy several bottles of water at the hotel we stayed before so it saved us money and was a nice touch. Lastly, the staff were amazing. They were all super helpful and friendly. We would stay here again for sure and recommend it to all of our friends and family.

Great location easy walk to time out market and a short 15 minute walk to Mercado do Bolhão. Very calm aesthetic and lovely 2 bedroom studio which was larger than expected. The bedrooms were a little cramped but we didn’t spend much time in there. We only had breakfast one morning and had to sit in the courtyard which was fine. The food wasn’t that plentiful for the cost from memory approx 15 euros . The staff were friendly and always helpful, umbrellas available at reception handy as we had 5 days of rain. Lots of eateries within walking distance .

The location was excellent. We were able to walk everywhere. The hotel was remodeled about a year ago. It has modern look, very clean. The beds were firm and the sheets were clean and crisp, I slept so well. The was very quiet as well. I didn’t try breakfast at the hotel but there were many cafes around you can try.

The room didn’t have anyplace to hang things like towel or washed clothes. I wish they installed towel bar in shower wall or outside. They only had round hooks around and had beautiful wood flooring. I was worried about damaging the floor with wet stuff. Also the room came with 2 twin beds! They were so narrow compared to regular twin beds. I was ok but my husband found it to be too small.

I booked this by mistake as I was only booking non-refundable accommodations and D'Alma is not. This was disappointing because others seemed cuter, plus the room I'd booked seemed too small. However, I upgraded it to the studio room for some 30 euros and it was totally worth it. We didn't have the hotel breakfast, so can't comment on that. It is true that the hotel is interior, but it's difficult not to get nice views in Porto, with so many hills, and from our balcony, we could see lots. The service is the best. Everyone strived to make our stay comfortable.

An elegant and comfortable hotel conveniently situated for walking around the city. Beautiful spacious light rooms, with extremely comfortable beds. Everything was of the highest standard and quality. The staff were overwhelmingly helpful and happy to share their knowledge of the city, recommend restaurant's etc. Nothing was too much trouble.

Nothing that we didn't like. However the breakfast room was very small for the number of rooms. Breakfast itself was super, lovely selection of meats, cheeses, local bread and pastries but as only a few tables, you had to book a time and space was tight. Perhaps going forward the courtyard will be developed as an additional space

It was very nice. The only things that would make it better was that there is no lift/elevator and we were on the top floor. This wasn’t a problem for us being very able but it could have been an issue for many. We would have also liked to be able to make ourselves a coffee / tea in the room. Or with this not bring available been able to serve ourselves to one without having to consult the hotel staff and pay for it. One or the other would have been nice and we would have been happy to pay slightly more for the room for this facility.

The room is really big. We hosted at the upmost floor and has a nice and romantic natural morning light from the sun through the roof window (and can be moved by electrical switch). There are a comfortable shared water bar and coffee machine that can be used at any time.

No elevator (not for lazy couples). There is no online check-in - late check-in costs money. The bathroom was good but not so practical, not enough spots to put stuff such as toothbrush... The bathroom light was put on a wrong location, which caused shadow on the face when looking at the mirror - no practical use for the mirror.

Excellent location, newly refurbished with spacious apartment. We stayed in one of the apartment units with small kitchenette. Lots of space with patio facing courtyard. Also, hotel assisted us with arranging an early morning driver to the airport. The driver was very professional and spot on time.

Only one complaint: we stayed in unit 1, which is directly above the reception and breakfast area. There was some early morning (7am) noise from cleaning, and late night from reception area, that was a disturbance.

Convenient location with restaurants around, bed was very comfortable. The shower is great, you can turn it on with a button with one finger and let it heat up, there is NOTHING worse than getting sprayed with cold water trying to turn on a shower in winter. Had a mini kitchen with dishes, cutlery, and cups, a microwave, fridge, and espresso maker. The two staff members I interacted with were helpful and friendly.

There is no way to get milk for your espresso without buying an entire breakfast (and for the following morning). I didn’t want to buy an entire container of milk for 2 nights so just drank it black one day and got coffee out the other day. Anywhere else I have stayed these 2 weeks has had at least small creamer cups if nothing else.
